We stayed here 4 night at the beginning and end of our trip (2 adulrs and an 11 year old). We were given the same room both times. As this was iur first trio to Egyot we hired out a private tour company to arrange things and this is were they put us. Room was OK. We had enough space to maneuver comfortably. Bathroom area was cramped. Our view from the only window in the room was a wall less than a meter away that blocked all light from coming in..which lead to the wife and kid nicknaming it "the cave". Functional, practical, not really all that great though considering there are probably much better options available. I understand that they probably have limited rooms for 3 people.. but that doesn't mean much when you're on a family vacation and stuck in the cave. Breakfast was quite lacking. The first day we got a buffet and could pick and choose. The other 3 days they served us a basic plate with a couple slices of cheese, the same strawberry jelly, 1 slice of beef ham, white bread rolls, and an egg. The best feature of the hotel was the breakfast terrace which has a decent enough view if the pyrimids and the sphinx in the background. Location is ok. There are some restaurants and shops in the area so you can stock up on drinks/snacks and get some dinner. Overall..good enough for our purposes but nothing that would draw me back to this property versus checking our other hotels in the area. The ok room and decent breakfast view just aren't enough for me to want to return. Out of the 5 hotels we stayed at during this trip, Pyramid Egde was easily our least favorite. It's not horrible but it's not a property I would recommend to friends and family either.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness and de-core of the hotel, the evening receptionist was not very helpful throughout , the maintenance guy was more helpful throughout our stay. I don't know if it was a language barrier but one of the evening staff in the restaurant was quite abrupt and came across rude at times. The morning breakfast was not much to choose from, but not bad at all, never eaten so many boiled eggs in a week!, however the morning restaurant staff were absolutely lovely and so attentive. The daytime reception guy Mahmoud was really nice and helpful and went above and beyond to help us out throughout our stay, the evening staff should take a leaf out of his book! All in all, it is a really nice, clean hotel and the evening meals were really good and all the day time staff were lovely, one by the name of Mohammad was also really nice and really helpful. I would however only recommend staying here for 2 nights max if going just to see the pyramids. As there is not much else to do, it was one of the reasons we cut our stay short the other reason was due to the harassment from local's begging for money and local taxi drivers harassing for trips. - no refection on the hotel at all. YOU DO NOT NEED A TAXI TO THE PYRAMIDS - IT'S LESS THAN 10 MINUTES WALK FROM THE HOTEL. Locals are willing to help you , but it will cost you!

Simple but good. Nice bed, good size room, good shower - but make you you turn it on few minutes before you want to use it so the water is hot. Giza Pyramids just few steps away and you can see them from your balcony, it is just another level - for a very reasonable price.

When staying at the Pyramid Edge Hotel, you are in for a treat. You have excellent views of the Pyramids. When on the roof you can also see the Sphinx. I loved the hotel as it was in an excellent location. The rooms are are modern, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The shower is an interesting set up, but no fear, there is excellent water pressure and temperature were just what a dusty weary traveler needs to get clean after a day filled with site seeing. If your trip includes breakfast. The meal was pre-made with cheese, fruit and bread, the tea was excellent and the coffee was drinkable. @Jakada Tours made an excellent selection! This was our first stop in Egypt and were flying from Hurgadda, we left our extra pieces of luggage at the hotel and picked it up on the way home. Try to get a balcony so you can sit and take in the lovely November/December temperatures and the exquisite views.

My fiancé, friend, and I stayed in two pyramid view rooms during two separate times. The first stay was fine. The second and our last night in Egypt was horrible. The view from the rooftop restaurant was awesome. Large sized rooms as compared to European standards. But the the following made the end of our trip sad: - two rooms not ready at our 11:35 pm checkin time -hot water heater in each room was not turned on so no hot water upon check in (we just wanted to shower and sleep but couldn’t do so) - water faucets broken and sink drain clogged in bathroom - no hot water in both rooms (hot water heater broken in one so no hot shower, very delayed heating in the other) - unclean floors in room (evidence of dirt and rubbish from previous guest) -no water bottles or kettle as published as amenities of room -shower head was clogged in one room, shower head fell off and hit my friend in his room causing water to go everywhere and flood the bathroom floor - no pyramid view from either room even though that is the type we booked In the end the hotel refunded the one night stay after complaining. I hope they prevent another guest going through what we went through.

This place was an absolute gem. Myself and my partner were only staying in Cairo for a couple of nights to see the Pyramids and wanted to be close. A lot of the hotels nearby the Pyramids looked more like hostels so we were optimistic when we saw this one, but our expectations were well and truly exceeded. The suite with spa was beautiful, modern and clean with a truly unbeatable view of the pyramids. Waking up to the view every morning was amazing. And the staff were so kind and polite - eager to help with anything at all. Arwa was the loveliest receptionist we experienced in Egypt - she always had a smile on her face and her English was excellent and the owner Omar was very professional and helpful. We will 100% be returning next time we visit Giza - 5 stars +!!

This hotel is located very close to the pyramids so you can also enjoy the view of the lights show from your room! They have big bathroom with showers, very clean, I really enjoyed my stay here. They do not speak English very well and they do not serve a nice breakfast before 8:30AM, but you have a really nice terrace at the top.

The hotel was lovely and is directly across from the prime view of the pyramids. However, I cant say I felt safe. The hotel is sits directly on a busy street, with the entrance doors left wide open at all times and there are no layers of security for entering the hotel. A huge turnoff was the fact that the reception closes around 9pm. I had no hot water my first night so I called the front desk several times and received no answer. Eventually, I decided to go down to the front desk to speak to someone directly and the reception guy was SLEEP on a couch in the lobby!!! I woke him and told him I had no hot water. He tells me in all seriousness "I'm sleeping right now. I'll come up and check it later" and of course he never did! So I was forced to take a cold shower after a long day of traveling. Imagine having an actual emergency and the front desk agent tells you, they cant help you because they're sleeping. The hotel was nice, and I enjoyed the view, but never again!!!

We stayed 6 nights at this hotel and the staff was awesome. We enjoyed eating and relaxing on the rooftop. The view of the pyramids from the rooftop each day was breathtaking. From the rooftop, we were able to watch the pyramid light show at night. During the day, we were able to walk to the different shops and meet the local people. Thank you to the staff of young men (Mo, Mido, Youssef and the others) for the great service. You made our trip more enjoyable. I highly recommend the Pyramid edge hotel when staying in Giza.
