The most amazing little gem in a crazy city. You will not find a hotel in Cairo with better views of the pyramids than this. Cairo is such a crazy place, yet when you enter the hotel you feel at home, the rooms are beautiful, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the rooftop terrace is an amazing space to spend time. Breakfast is plentiful. They really don’t shout about this enough, but there is even a beautiful pool at the hotel!!! Honestly, this is such good value for money and if you are visiting the pyramids you have to stay here. Special thank you to Zico and Abdul for being so helpful during the stay.
This is an excellent mid-range hotel overlooking the pyramids and Sphinx. Well run, efficient, friendly, helpful and caring. Giza can be a challenging place to stay but the team at this hotel smooth the bumps out. Thanks a lot. Highly recommended.
We were travelling with our 15 year old grandson so we were seeking connecting rooms. The Elite Pyramid surpassed my expectations. Our suite of rooms was 501. We had a heavy wooden, locking, door from the corridor; once inside that door we had a small private hallway with our 2 bedrooms opening into the hallway (each with separate locks which could be used or not) which connected to our large, well functioning bathroom. Both our king sized room and our grandson's twin room were spacious and well appointed with extra seating plus computer desk. This room arrangement is perfect for travelling with children/teens/even another couple. The amazing breakfast room looking out onto the pyramids is just as depicted in the hotel description. There was always a table available when we wanted one, the breakfasts were delicious, and the service excellent. We did eat a dinner there as well when we were simply too tired after the day's excursions to go out & we each enjoyed our meal. The staff at this hotel is extraordinary: Zico at the reception desk makes certain everything is running as it should and he is quick to arrange any special things you need inside and outside of the hotel. His charming, efficient, warmth is a pleasure to encounter. Hamed kept our rooms immaculate and cleaned them in a timely manner each day. Sam, in the restaurant, stands out for his personable service but everyone we encountered in the restaurant was efficient and warm, handling all of our requests in English. There is a variety of restaurants within walking distance that we used several evenings, always feeling safe while walking in the dark. TIP: make sure to ask for rooms in the original building - if it's this boutique feeling you are seeking…
The name of the hotel is a very accurate description being a boutique hôtel. It is located in a condominium building with a section dedicated for their lobby, indoor pool and bedrooms. The hotel portion has been recently renovated and it is overall very clean. The staff and very friendly and eager to please, especially Rawdanagy she was fantastic! As soon as you arrive they want to ensure you have all you would want to make your stay enjoyable. Our room consisted of two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with two double beds. There is a balcony off the primary bedroom overlooking to complex courtyard which has a swimming pool for the condominium owners (we did not see it used once). The roof top terrace is located in another section of the building which also has bedrooms. The area is also nice, they have done a good job decorating and making a pleasant area to relax after a long day of sightseeing and shopping :-) They offer beer and wine, is should be known they need to get the wine elsewhere so you'll have a wait a few minutes. The diner menu is outsourced so the wait can be as much as 1 hour. Breakfast consists of local breads, fruits, yogurt and local omelette. The negative part of the hotel was that the shower did not drain properly so water would quickly spill over the edge and into the bathroom and go into the secondary drain. As side information the airport is approximately 55 minutes away and I highly suggest you use Uber the cost is approximately 300 Egyptian pounds. There is a couple of convince stores walking distance if you want to stock up you mini fridge. …
Stayed at this hotel in a recent visit. Great location and view of the pyramid. Rooms were large, clean and well appointed. Zico was welcoming, friendly and the consumate host. He arranged transportation to and from the airport with Hassan and a local guide Maryam. The trip was seamless and very pleasant. Thank you Zico. Bruce
The hotel is very nice and is located near the Pyramids. Rooms are very wide and clean. During breakfast from the terrace you can see the majesty of the pyramids of Cheops and Kefren. The staff is very kind, they help you understand the lifestyle of Cairo (very different from westerners) and they suggest you the best solutions for trips and visits. Personally thanks to Zico and the lady at the reception. I recommend traveling with the name and address of the hotel written in Arabic, this is useful when communicating with taxi drivers. The breakfast is plentiful and the waiters are ready to bring extra coffee, water or falafel if you want.
absolutely no value for money , no service , Fifth floor hotel and the Lift isn't working so you'll have to use the stairs , the prices are crazy compare to the Restaurants and coffee shops outside in the street so for two Cups of coffee we paid 7 dollars for a very bad taste coffee , the breakfast meal is good enough for an animal not for a human being the Omelette is very cold also the Flalfel so we told the waiter and he said that he can microwave it so i asked him to replace the food so he took the food microwaved it and gave it back to us to be fair the waiter is nice and he wanna help but he couldn't do anything so we had to leave the food and went outside for some proper breakfast but the cat enjoyed the Omelette , surely I'd rather sleep at the street than staying there for free.…
This was an ideal spot to enjoy the surrounding area (Great Pyramids, stepped pyramids, Memphis, etc) by day and relax by night. We loved eating breakfast and dinner overlooking the Great Pyramids. The rooms were cute, and the pool was lovely. Ziko and everyone on staff rolled out the red carpet for us.
I spent 2 nights in deluxe room with balcony. The hotel room is good and facing to the pyramid! Hotel staff Zico is not good but excellent! He is so helpful and friendly. He arranged airport transfer, booked me nice tour with good value. Even he went out with me during his day off to show me the pyramid, we made a very good photo. I regret I can only stayed two nights, I hope to visit this hotel and meet Zico again.
We really enjoyed our time at the hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, and rooms were comfortable. An excellent view and fun place to smoke sheesha on the hotel roof too. We were able to walk to the pyramids, and when GEM eventually opens it will be close. The view made this place exceptional. Then my travel companions left their bag behind when we moved on to Alexandria, and the hotel held the bag safely until it could be retrieved. Many thanks to the staff.
