The Hyatt Regency provides a great hotel experience. The facility is very clean, the rooms are spacious and nicely set up. The staff members are well trained and ensure that guests feel welcome. This hotel is certainly one of the best hotels in Cairo.
A very good experience a different world, a new extremely modern hotel with excellent service. Trained staff make all the deference. Extremely good breakfast buffet made a very good start to the day. We will certainly return.
All the staff here are exceptionally efficient & friendly. From reception staff to restaurant staff & the chamber maids/cleaners. Any problems that arose were dealt with promptly & with smiles. A special shout out of appreciation goes to Aly Khalil for delicious coffees, service, smiles & remembering how we like our drinks & Heba Gamal for spotless rooms & lovely touches like flowers in my room. The only downside is the sound proofing between rooms, means you can hear your neighbours when they are in their rooms but the rooms are beautiful & have such lovely pillows & comfy mattresses. Overall amazing.
I had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency Cairo West in Giza in early March 2023. The Resort there is only a few years old and the staff from upper management to all service personnel ensured my stay was as magnificent as possible. There were a few snafus based largely on communication, but management took full responsibility at each step and made my stay that much more a truly fantastic. The spa was wonderful, with his/hers hot tub, steam room, and sauna, and the variety of outdoor pools (with salt water chlorination) ensures no stinging of the eyes and your skin stays soft. I had a wonderful, top-notch massage, so make a reservation upon arrival at the resort. The upgraded suite I was in was wonderful, and I know there were even better suites as I saw large outdoor patios adjacent to my room. The breakfast and the breakfast staff/management are superb with tasty local cuisine and enough variety if you feel like something from home (wherever home might be), as is the Regency Lounge staff, food, ambience, and service excellent as well. I cannot say enough about the staff across the entire resort: so attentive, so kind, so outgoing, there to help at every moment. I chose to stay at this Hyatt so as to be close to one of the Wonders of the World: The Great Pyramid Complex is only a 10km drive, and well worth a five to six hour visit and a guided tour with your own camel! I would stay at the Hyatt Regency Cairo West again in an instant! Thank you to the management and staff for making my stay in West Cairo, Egypt one I'll never forget!! Mark…
This hotel is top notch. The decor and ambiance is pleasing. The food is good. All of the staff are kind and attentive. All is very clean. Our room attendant, Heba Gamal, would leave extra amenities she anticipated we would need and even brought flowers one day.
The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the overall facilities were very luxurious and well organized. The swimming pool is very well maintained. Especially, the spa bath and dry sauna facilities in the room were very good. The room cleaning of Staff Amany and Abdalla was also satisfactory. I highly recommend it.
I have mixed feelings about this property. On one hand, we had exceptional service, several wonderful meals, and a great spa experience. On the other, we had issues with our room, leading to an upgrade, but that room had issues as well. There seemed to be english language issues with many of the staff across all departments leading to numerous, albeit minor, mis-understandings. The lounge was poorly attended and was not open during breakfast hours. The facility seemed to be worn a bit more than it should be, given how new the property is (1 year) with minor finish issues and things broken or out of of place (like one of the letters for the name of one of the banquet rooms). The pool is nice and we had excellent poolside service, but the orientation of the hotel meant that the pool only got sun until around 3pm when we were there (and the water, supposedly heated, was still quite cold). All of the above aside, the largest detractor for me staying here again is that the location, combined with Cairo traffic, is at least an hour away from the airport and more than 1/2hr distant from downtown. It is more proximate to the Pyramids, which is nice, but still not as close as other properties. …
Just finished a 1 week stay as a family with my husband and 7 year old daughter. After some minor initial hiccups with the shower not draining and flooding our room, the remainder of our stay was lovely. The service is amazing. Everyone is so friendly. Facilities are clean and up to date. The staff at the lobby bar are awesome! It is about 1 hour Uber ride into central Cairo but we didn’t mind since we enjoyed being out of the crowds. Easy access to the pyramids and GEM. The food is great and reasonably priced. They even have a kids menu and my daughter loved their burgers. Drinks are a bit overpriced , especially alcohol. A can of Coke is 45EGP and you can walk to the convenience store across the street and get it for 10 EGP. The pool is a bit in the cool side but your body adjusts. ATM on site.…
We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting the pyramids on the start of our Egypt vacation. The hotel is very new and has a trendy high end vibe. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were of good size. I do wish there was a full length mirror somewhere in the room. Also the bathroom area is not very private. Just a milk glass door on the toilet which is not floor to ceiling so it's somewhat open. Did not like that at all. Shower is the same. We ate both the breakfast and dinner buffet which were excellent with many choices. The food prices were a little more expensive compared to other hotels we stayed at in Egypt. I thought the location was pretty good for visiting the pyramids and the new museum. 10-15 minute drive. Not really walkable to anything so you are more hotel-bound outside of doing tours or getting an Uber.…
We really enjoyed our dinner at Barranco. Food was 🔥🔥. Chef's kiss! Ambiance was a 10! All of the staff was very accommodating and funny. Our waiter, Mohammed Adel was amazing. He didn't skip a beat. Shout out to the Yousef Sayed Shawky (bartender) and Hossam (the swimmer).
