Friendly services. Some parts of the hotel were good. Some certainly need repairs. Very old fashioned rickety lift. No hot water especially in the mornings. Breakfast was good. Good location. Good amenities nearby. East to visit Ghaza pyramids. WiFi was hopeless.
Very bad hotel, first no body can visit you in the room , second you can’t charge your phone because the Electric points is old model and the wifi is very slow. TERRIBLE HOTEL! First, it was hard to find. The receptionist gave us hard time checking in then the rooms were dirty and everything looked old. The internet was down and the safe was not working and too small won't even fit your laptop. The mattress was dirty and torn.
A 4-star hotel in Gaza, which corresponds to 2 according to European standards... The rooms and terraces are large, with old furniture, everything in the bathroom is about to fall apart... There is a large outdoor pool and restaurant, friendly staff, the biggest drawback is the breeding of hundreds of pigeons in the courtyard of the hotel, which bathe in the pool in the morning, fly and dirty everywhere, it is neither pleasant / nor hygienic and therefore I would not recommend the hotel!
Took them one and a half hours to prepare our room after we arrived at 4pm, one and a half hours at that time of the day! The food in the restaurant isn't great and the drinks are well overpriced. When booking I thought there was an actual pool bar, there isn't. Not a great experience.
Hotel is a little dated but still has its international western standards. Price doesn't exceed $40 to $45 per night. Hotel is in a crowded area of Faisal St in Giza but once you enter its premises you are in a different quite and peaceful world. There staff are respectful and polite.
Nice and quiet hotel to stay in, amazing staff especially Mai, The hotel is clean , has a great atmosphere,AC working great, and definitely I'll repeat my stay there very soon. Thanks a lot for your efforts
Staying for business trip in Cairo and reside in this hotel for long time. It's a historical hotel located the house of one famus actor in Egypt. It's kind of old but quiet to stay; enjoy the food. Especially thanks for Mohammed from house-keeping manager and Hoda of house-keeping girl who clean well and carefully and two nice person to meet also.
The room was very beautiful. The hotel is situated in old buildings andhas old furniture but thats whats giving it its special spirit. The pool is avarage size-not big, not small and the deep is around 165cm. The water needs to be cleaned. But its very good for kids and also for adults. In the night there were swimming courses for kids from outside the hotel, which made the garden area very crowded and noisy. Our big thanks belongs to Mai from reception. She was very proffesional, helpfull and made our stay comfortable.
I don't recommend this hotel for anyone Bad service i ask many time to fixed the AC but no response and the temperature up 38.. I still wait to fix it from 9 am to 10.15 am.. I didn't know why take so long..
I stayed here as part of my tour. The hotel itself is ok, but as everyone smokes everywhere it does not help with the air quality. The issue for this place is the staff and their attitudes On my first night I asked for my safe to be repaired. I asked four times and it was never attended to. All it needed was new batteries. When I phoned the receptionist was rude, abrupt and dismissive. On the second time I stayed here I arrived at 6.30am and was left at reception by the tour company. They advised me that my room would not be ready until 2pm. I sat in the lounge area to wait. I dosed off and was woken abruptly at 9am by someone who works there. They were shouting at me asking who I was and what I was doing there. I have never been spoken to like this as customer. On that night I bought some food outdoors and took it to my hotel room. I asked four times for cutlery and did not get any. Wifi was terrible and at one point I sat in the lounge, the waiter came up and asked me to leave as I was not buying a drink. I explained I was a guest at the hotel and needed to use Wifi as I could not use this in my room. He continued to ask me to leave. The ladies who worked at the hotel and the older gentleman who dealt with luggage storage were very pleasant. Some basic manners and customer service skills needed here.…
