My daughter and I stayed here as the jump off point to a tour we took through travel discounters Canada. This hotel was amazing. rooms large with great views and balcony. Grounds were stunning. There are several places to eat on the estate. The highlight though, was the Indian one. The view of the pyramids from the room was unworldly!...

This was my fourth stay at the Mena House in two years but the first occupying a room in the modern wing. This time I was travelling with friends, staying one night only at the end of our trip. Hotel: some may say that this hotel is all about location, next to the great pyramid. My view is that the...

This is a lovely historic hotel with great views of the Pyramids. The room I had was not very clean though and there is no free Wifi in the rooms. Wifi is only available in the reception area which is about 4-5min walk from most rooms. Vegans take note as the pillows are down filled but you can request an...

Hotel was amazing and historic. It was freezing during my stay but I had no idea that it would be cold during the day! Awesome location in proximity to the pyramids of Egypt. Staff was friendly and helpful and they will even provide tours of the hotel. Great stay and would highly recommend.

If you're visiting the pyramids of Giza, then there really is no better place to stay; it's right on their doorstep, you could walk to them if it wasn't for all the street hustlers along the way. The grounds are stunning, winding paths cut through palm trees and fountains. The rooms are clean, stylish and comfortable. I stayed in a...

First I was promised a pyramid view room. In writing I had that information. Instead I received a room next to the noisy road. When I complained, I had to stand in reception like an animal for 2 hours waiting for another room to be allocated. The next room was away from the road but still a total dive. It...

The hotel is a historic place and being close to the pyramids, is a sought after location for tourists to Cairo who are not on a budget. Armed security personnel, bomb detectors, sniffer dogs, are located at the entrance to the grounds of hotel. An extension wing attached to the original hotel are where most people staying at this hotel...
