The Safir Hotel is one of the most fantastic places that we have had the pleasure to visit in our world travels. The accomodations are spacious and comfortable, there are plenty of ammenities, shops, restaurants, and bistros, and the hotel staff are some of the friendliest and most accomodating we have ever encountered! Make sure to enjoy a relaxing dip...

We enjoyed our stay enormously, especially after the bad experience at the Grand Royal Hotel ! The room was large and spacious with lots of desks, tables and chairs and perfect lightening. The bathroom too was perfect and up to normal standards. One night, we had dinner at the swimming pool and it was amazing : the meat had been...

Have stayed here before and still the place is very nice compared to other Cairo Hotels! Great Price for the value and one of the bests breakfasts of any Hotel I have stayed at anywhere around the world! Clean and nice rooms! Only drawback for the Hotel is that they need to either steam clean their carpets in the rooms...

We stayed here with two small kids for five nights in executive room. The hotel is good tucked away from traffic in a quiet lane. Room was spacious and clean, staff is very helpful and accomodating. They helped us with cooking babyfood as we wanted, staff helped hire taxi outside the hotel. The breakfast platter is very good and staff...

Booked this hotel with booking.com The service is good, don't expect luxury! We didn't spend much time in the Hotel and all we wanted is a clean room to sleep in at night after a jam packed day of sightseeing.

I booked 3 nights at this hotel for its location - walking distance to the Nile and adjacent to shops in the Dokki area. It's tucked away and therefore quite quiet (for Cairo). Room had everything you could want and was reasonably sized and comfortable. Ate breakfast at the buffet (which has separate smoking/non-smoking areas) and was fine. Also dined...

Price comparing to what you get is very good, location is great, service is very good, breakfast is great and room service food too. Rooms are very good, with a balcony and most of them are new, I always have problems with the room A/C, its working but keep shutting down and open automatically. The area is so good, you...

Booked this hotel on one of the online comparison sites and was a total bargain at less than £300 for the 4 nights - all the extras such as food and drinks at the bar were also good value. The hotel is quite central and easy to get to the main attractions by taxi or you can walk if you...

I am city girl, I like being in the heart of Cairo, not in the desert around the pyramids, were everything feels remote and country style in it´s bad meaning. And when you add the increasing Cairo traffic, where drivers are even worse nowadays, post revolution, you don´t want to spend hours at the Pyramids Road, going between pyramid´s area...

Hotel is in a nice area and staff are friendly and helpful. Food is satistactory - only had the breakfasts. Gym and pool are good though pool can get crowded. Only strange thing was our room wasn't cleaned for two days despite several half-hearted attempts at getting a time to do so. We spent most of our time outside the...
