We booked this for the view and it matched our expectations which were high! We didn’t get our luggage and the staff was amazingly helpful and understanding. Went to drug store for us and very sympathetic. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast was good too. If you want to stay in Giza I would recommend this place. Be prepared for stairs though and it only serves breakfast. They recommended a guide for the pyramids and dinner Nile cruise and the drivers were very informative as well. Thank you Mohamoud, Mohammed and everyone!

View from our room was out of this world! Very friendly hosts, first night we got here very late and was starving, lovely man Ahmed ordered us some food to enjoy on the rooftop, we were super greatful and got to enjoy the light show aswell. Guest house has a decent breakfast, omelette, fruit, teas, fried falafel was yummy! what more could you want? Everywhere was clean, shampoo, body wash and towels provided. Rooftop was beautiful we came up every night and was lucky enough to have the place to ourselves some nights. No better hotel in Egypt for view point. Very happy we came :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This hotel was the best. The view looks straight on to the Sphinx and pyramids. The hotel was clean and decorated with Egyptian paper art. The manager was helpful answering everyone of our many questions. He told us if we wanted to buy anything outside to speak to him first to see if the price was correct…which we did. I forget his name but he was so helpful. He had breakfast for us on the morning also. His mom cleaned our room and did a fabulous job and was so sweet. The owner wasn’t there but before we booked our room he answered all our questions on a very timely fashion. I rate this hotel 5 stars for hospitality, cleanliness and the view. It’s a simple decor inside but was perfect for is. This hotel is great for families too!

Basic hotel, but with a great service and a beautiful view of the pyramids. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is right across from the entrance to the pyramids. The brothers that run this hotel are very nice and very helpful. This is the perfect hotel if you are looking for great service, great view of the pyramids and great value for your money.

Among a number of these small hotels facing the site of the Great Pyramids, the best of all hotels I can quite certainly say "when it comes to the view" is this hotel where from its rooftop terrace is the "straight-ahead view" of the Sphinx & the mid-sized one of the three pyramids behind the Sphinx with also an "overall panorama" of all three pyramids seen pretty much in a long row from the biggest one on the right to the smallest one on the left (and where to enjoy that great view are also plenty of seats & umbrellas). And yes, apart from that phenomenal view from above are also: the "nice & filling" breakfast with a pretty good variety of items (like a mini-buffet plus an omelette); the comfort of a "fairly spacious" room with good-sized beds, some furniture, a flat-screen & an ensuite; and really quite an impressive guest service, I would say, provided by the mother & two sons who run the Hotel (friendly & helpful with everything I needed including arranging an in-house PCR test). And in the vibrant area around this place are not too many but a number of places to eat although I found them "somewhat pricey" (except the KFC actually located right beside this hotel building with meal options for reasonable prices).

The rating relates to the travel period March 2022 (Corona) and room 102, traveling as a couple without children. Normal requirements for equipment and food, no luxury travelers. Hotel in general With the rating you have to take into account that it is a guest house and not a hotel and that the nights are very cheap. We booked it for the view of the pyramids, that's the biggest plus. The guest house is very old from the outside and inside, with a renovation you could make a jewel out of it. From the roof terrace you have a fantastic view of the pyramids and you can see the light show for free in the evening. But you shouldn't expect too much from this, you can watch it for free, but we wouldn't pay money for it. As it seems usual in Egypt, the WiFi is very poor and not available on the roof terrace, for example. Pyramids in 2 minutes, small refreshments Kiosk in about 5 minutes walking distance. Meal Only breakfast is offered, which is very basic. There is unlimited and free 24-hour coffee, tea and water to take yourself. In the evening we ate at Abou Shakra, about 5 minutes away, we really liked the meals, only the service is bad and only cash payments are accepted. Room 102 First floor with a direct view of the pyramids. The rooms are very simple and old furnished, but absolutely clean. Unfortunately, the windows are poorly insulated, so the dogs barking at night can be heard very loudly. The air conditioning was great and heated the room up quickly given the surprisingly cold temperatures. There is no fridge or safe in the room, unfortunately no socket in the bathroom either. We could borrow a hair dryer for free at the reception, iron and ironing board are available in the coffee kitchen. Staff/service Very friendly staff and always helpful and available. As we booked 4 nights we were offered a free transfer from the airport to the hotel which worked great. For the way back to the airport we used this service again for 30 euros. The transfer takes about 2 hours during rush hour and only 45 minutes in the early morning. You can find more information and fotos about my trips on my Instagram account about_uli

WOW WOW WOW All about the views - totally mind blowing. The roof top area was fabulous. The streets were busy and a bit noisy - earplugs for at night. Mahmut was so so lovely and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Felt safe in the hotel and just wary on the streets. The views from our bedroom window will never be beat.

Best hospitality, amazing view from the room and also rooftop. Room 101 has the best pyramid view with large windows. Also enjoyed light and sound show from rooftop. Another interesting point, you will find the best priced souvenir from their own store. We purchased the painting at around half cost compared to another nearby store.
