I highly recommend Saakara View Guesthouse as it became my home away from home. Mohammed and Ahmed and their families welcome you with open arms and treat you like family. I honestly left a little piece of my heart there with them. ❤️ The Guesthouse is clean and comfortable. There was air conditioning and comfortable beds. The food is home made and delicious and the hosts are attentive and so gracious. The Dome is amazing and the local villagers are so friendly and kind. I honestly can’t wait to go back and see them some day!

Stayed here for 3 nights. If you want an authentic Egyptian experience this is the place for you. It's not in the heart of Cairo but in a village, Abusir. It is located 5 mins from Sakkara pyramids, 15 mins from Giza pyramids, 30 mins from Cairo and about 45 minutes from the airport. The rooms are clean with air conditioning and WiFi. The host Mohamed lives here with his family and is very accommodating. There is a market every Sunday, where they sell cattle, goats, sheep, and donkeys. It is not a tourist destination, but a must see in my opinion, to soak up the atmosphere of Egypt and meet the wonderful Egyptian people. We spent the morning at the market and I never once felt threatened or uncomfortable, but that applies to all of Egypt in my experience, the people are quick to laugh and always eager to help. Sakkara View Guest house is a great base to explore. We left to spend 2 days in the white desert and left our luggage in the guest house without any worries. The food is great and when you return from a trip there is always a cup of shai (tea) waiting for you on your return. You can spend the evening playing dominos with the locals in the coffee shop, literally next door to Sakkara view guest house. We had a wonderful stay here and can't recommend it highly enough. If I return to Egypt I will be staying here again.

A lovely stay at Sakkara Guest house, if you are looking to get out of Cairo and find some peace and quiet, this is the place. Comfortable rooms, an amazing dome for meditation or sound healing. Mohammed can not do enough to make your stay enjoyable. After I left I called Mohammed for shopping advice as he knows the area like the back of his hand, he was always there with a smile to help. I will return for sure,

This is your spot if your looking for a family oriented experience. The food is amazing, clean home. And not to mention the sound dome that is apart of the guest home is built off of science, there is nothing like it. Literally the desert is right out the front door and you have a view of several pyramids from the roof. It is absolutely worth the extra effort of getting here. It is an Authentic village experience

We went with a group of friends on a two week vacation to Egypt and stayed at the guest house. Mohammed and his family saw to our every need and we were treated as family. The food was amazing, in fact his wife’s cooking was better than any of the restaurants we went to. The rooms were spacious and clean, some of them had balconies, and we enjoyed time on the rooftop terrace that provided an amazing view. There is a sound dome inside the house that is perfect for gatherings, yoga, and meditations. The best part of it all was experiencing Egypt in a home like setting away from the hustle and bustle of a big city yet still being close to all of the famous attractions. If I could give it more than five stars, I would!

Hands down the best place to experience in Egypt! Mohammed and his family are so welcoming and hospitable. We had an excellent tour experience which Mohammad managed. To top it off the food at the guest house was the best we had in all of Egypt!
