We stay in Mango Guest House for 2 night. The owner of the establishment is very attentive to the requests of visitors. They met us at the airport, took us, and showed us everything around the house. A trip to Abu Simbel was also organized by hostess and as well a car from Aswan to Luxor with the 2 stops was ordered. The trip to Abu Simbel was at 4 am. The guy from reception prepared for as a breakfast for take away, and also accompanied completely to the point of appointment. For two night we pay 23 Eur per 2 person with the breakfast included. Tour to Abu Simbel cost 450 Egyptian Pounds per person. Privet car with driver from Aswan to Luxor with two stops at the temples cost 1200-1400 Egyptian Pounds. Especially we happy that met ALI in The Mango guest house. Nice, caring person. If you need something, he always will help you. The guy never ask a tip or something like that. We very happy to met him. I highly recommend to stay in The Mango Guest House.…
This is by far the best budget accommodation on the island. It is quiet, with a wonderful garden to sit in, and spacious clean rooms. Essentially for the same price as the small cramped rooms in the surrounding hostels with little or no privacy.
Me and my friend stayed 2 days in Mango guest house. We had an amazing stay. The room is clean and comfortable, and the views of the Nile from the terrace on top are amazing. But what was specially remarcable is the friendliness, smiles and helpfulness of the staff. They seem to be genuinly happy to help with our requests, organise tours and try to make our stay more comfortable. Thank you very much.
It is located in a very peaceful island without motorbikes or vehicles. From Aswan it is very easy to arrive at the island thanks by boat operating all day. It’s staff is very helpful and kind and supports you in organizing any visit. The room was very comfortable, clean and a good wifi. There is a beautiful garden in front of the house to rest, read and take the breakfast. It has been a very nice discover during our trip in Egypt. Highly recommended
Situated on Elephantine Island so away from the hustle and bustle of Aswan. Clean, comfy and quiet. Ehab, Ali and Mohammed couldn’t do enough for us. Bobby the dog rules the place (as he should). They serve breakfast in the beautiful garden to the front and have a communal kitchen where the hot drinks are free. A fridge full of water and pop you can buy (not at rip off prices) is there too. They don’t serve food but can order in at no mark up and can arrange any trip you want at reasonable prices. Totally recommended, and will be my port of call every time I come back to Aswan
