Perfect place to stay in Nairobi. Very affordable, large rooms, friendly staff and lovely place. Location is great as the hotel is located right in the middle of the central business district. I liked it. If I need to come Nairobi, i will definitely would stay again.

Well it used to be a lot cheaper! In fact prices have doubled in recent years. This hotel offers clean sheets and occasional hot water - sometimes scalding - be careful. If you have a low budget and are just in Nairobi for a day or two then this hotel will do. I haven't found it to be dirty though...

The website very very misleading. Hygiene non-existent. Not clean at all. Lifts did not work and we had to take our luggage to the second floor without any assistance from the porter. The toilets very very gross. Poor drainage. Everything looked unsafe. EXCEPT YOU ARE STRANDED ON THE STREET, DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS HOTEL. Luckily we just stayed a...

Greton is located in a seedy part of Nairobi - ie River Road area - on the edge of the CBD. Its a good budget hotel for the price though grotty compared to similiar priced much nicer hotels in Mtwapa, Mombasa. Generally the staff are friendly, OK restaurant nextdoor, rooms + bed are adequate, hot water is great but the...

This hotel is ideally located and offers very good cheap fares. You get a well sized room en suite room, good security and its pretty much in the middle of he city so traveling is handy. Got plenty of taxis outside and the staff are very friendly. Definitely recommend this hotel 5 STAR

When I flew into Kenya in July, I had seen Greton Hotel advert on the net, and thought since it sounds affordable and neat, it would be a nice place to put up for somedays before I start my travel. The Taxi dropped me at the entrance with all my bags, in rather a noisy and very insecure part of...

The only good thing about this hotel is that it's cheap and close to the city centre. Otherwise, it is really noisy and quite grubby. Almost all rooms have windows that open out on to the central courtyard/stairwell and it can be really noisy at night. The nearby Hotel Africana has cheaper rooms that are equally as grubby, so if...

We stayed at the Greton for a week because our visa cards had been stolen which is the only reason to stay in this city so long! The hotel is very basic but its super cheap and has hot water which all of the ones in this price range do not have. It has a relaxed bar which is a...
