Just across the road from the UN compound, reasonable prices and basic amenities. Good enough for official stay and even has apartments for long term at very reasonable prices. Apartments are difficult to get as they are ideal for couple of months for people without conveyance

Besides proximity to the UN, another advantage is the nearby US Embassy, which is guarded by Kenyan military, police and private security personnel what makes this borough the safest place in Nairobi The "Village Market", with a supermarket and a dosen...

The only reason to choose this hotel would be its close proximity to the UN complex. I felt like staying in a dormitory, very basic rooms with no effort whatsoever to make you feel comfortable - curtains falling down, cold floors, very noisy. Cleanliness was OK, but could not make up for the terrible atmosphere. The breakfast was a joke...

It takes about 2 minutes to walk to the main gate. It is not a 5star hotel BUT, the bed was comfortable, room was clean, water VERY hot...

“If a lone lady traveler, ask for a room near reception. If possible, get an apartment instead - it has a full kitchen, living area and separate bedroom however, these are more difficult to book as UN staff usually pick them up way in advance.”
