My husband and I stayed at the Fairview before and after an arduous ten day trip to western Kenya. My husband had stayed there many times, but this was a first for me, and it was a great experience, relaxing and restful before and after a long trip to the States. A huge inviting breakfast buffet; excellent lunch and lighter...

I love everything about the Fairview. The grounds are gorgeous (which is probably my favorite aspect of the hotel), the staff are friendly and helpful (and remember you from visit to visit), and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. There are several restaurants on the property and a little shop for snacks/necessities. I've stayed here 10+ times over the...

This is a great place to hold training seminars and meetings. The rooms are comfortable, spread out to reduce human traffic in the narrow passages and with access to gardens in which groups can network while enjoying their refreshments. The roast lamb was particularly succulent and excellently flavored....

Entering the gates to the Fairview was like getting through Fort Knox...so much security. Once inside, you are in an amazing world of restaurants, beautiful grounds, a gift shop, helpful staff, and very clean, modern, light-filled rooms. We dined around the lighted pool one evening, seated at elegant tables, served by a staff of suited waiters, and serenaded with live...

Expensive but worth money. Safe and quiet high quality hotel with attentive staff and 4 (?) restaurants. Green oasis when you are back from daily nightmare-like traffic in Nairobi. We did not have a chance to check the pool but it looked very promising. Good hygenic restaurants - none if us experienced any problems. High security level. Some rooms did...

The hotel has an allure to it, as it looks old, but stylishly. food was great (applause for the chef and the waiters), drivers were excellent and helpful. I didn't manage to experience the entirety of the hotel (I heard there was a pool, but it was a very short trip). so it still holds secrets for next time, as...

there many hotels coming up in upper hill, but they all cant match fairview's serene, calmness, oldish feel.i had been stuck in the usual upper hill traffic but once i got in, literally you just relax. I had some well done sandwiches and fresh juices. I liked the attentiveness of the staff and their uniform as well

Slight inconvenience with added security as next to embassy, but probably safer for that. Clearly business hotel. Nice in that it is historic and has beautiful gardens. We were given a 'free upgrade' on checking in, which meant that we were across the road in a different building. Huge room and very quiet and peaceful, but inconvenience of needing key...

Fairview Hotel continues to be my favorite destination for holding conferences because of its ambience, space, beautiful gardens and above all very skilled personnel. The staff are great and efficient. My bookings were accurate (from conferencing, to dinners cocktail). The service at the business center is professional. I shall continue to take my conferences here. Thank you.

This hotel is centrally placed in Nairobi and has been for over a hundred years. It has extensive grounds which have gardens and a swimming pool, as well as a number of sunbathing areas and bars.
