We had one spare night in Nairobi and Giraffe Manor was our choice. Excellent location, service, food and of course the Giraffes and wart hogs. Worth every penny from our luxurious room in this boutique property to the meals, time with animals and transfer to the airport for our safari. They took the time to ensure we saw other important...

I'll start my review by saying that the staff is incredible. However, with that said, this did not meet my expectations at all. I'll start with the positives. A beautiful space with views of Giraffes. We also had warthogs that would roam the area freely. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. The bonus, an intimate experience with Giraffes. Giraffes would...

Dear Travelbuglove83, Thank you for your review, we are pleased you enjoyed the interaction with the giraffes. As you have noted, the manor is a period home that was originally built in 1932 and it was indeed once a private residence. Previous owners, Jock & Betty Leslie-Melville, introduced the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife to the property in the 1970s...

I have read about this hotel ages ago and promised myself someday to visit. It's more awesome than I've ever imagined! I was collected and arrived to the hotel about 7 AM through the beautiful gates with sculptured giraffes adorning them. As we drove down the wooded driveway and made the turn, I saw several giraffes roaming on the front...

If you're looking for a totally UNIQUE EXPERIENCE you've gotta stay at Giraffe Manor ... tucked behind gates is a giant hunting lodge built in the 1930's. The staff is super friendly and provide excellent service. Breakfast with the Giraffes is a unforgettable experience.

Excellent stay, staff are just the best, friendly attentive where nothing is too much. the rooms and manor are very comfortable with no detail missed upto the hot water bottles in the bed at night after turn down service. The highlight being with the Giraffe both at the Manor as well as the tour of the nearby Giraffe Centre and...

This hotel is like dream comes true. Experience, nothing like any other. Driver picks you up from the airport at no extra cost, then you arrive to this fantasy hotel in about 45mins depending on the traffic. I had early flight so they let me check in earlier which costed me $60 including breakfast. Upon arrival, I had breakfast with...

Arriving at Giraffe Manor is like stepping in to a magical world - but for two days we enjoyed this as our reality. The Manor is wonderfully set up with numerous private spaces and communal areas if you feel like being more social. We stayed in the Finch Hatton Suite with our two daughters (11 and 8). It was perfectly...

We stayed at Giraffe manor for 1 night. Feeding giraffes and seeing them so close up was a memorable experience. However dinner was below average almost like plane food. Most of the guests struggled to eat the starter and main course. Tea and coffee was cold during afternoon tea and dinner. We stayed in several camps whilst on safari where...

What a place to be! Not for the tea, but for everything else. Three of us went there on January 24, 2016 for a Sunday afternoon tea. The place was a delight. The wine was good, but the giraffes stole the show. It was a great time to be there. The air was crisp and the blue sky made it...
