I stayed here 3 years ago and booked it again recently based on that experience. I don't believe I stayed in the same hotel!
The rooms are dated and not anything better than what I would expect from an average Best Western or Holiday Inn....More

You will not find piki piki's at the airport as those are not allowed to enter. With 6 hours to go and given the distance to the Panari, you should be able to make it. Decide for yourself if you wish to have your baggage checked through - I suppose you will use Kenya Airways for the two flights or just have it checked to Nairobi first, get it from the domestic terminal and then check in again. Remember please you need to be at the airport again two hours before departure which leaves you at best 2 1/2 hours given the arrival wait for the bags off the Kisumu flight and the trip to and from the Panari. Hope this helps.
