Oloshaiki was a disaster - but for the kitchen staff, most of the other support staff (the Manager excluded) and the great food. Power was available only for a few hours – there is no power all through the day and after 11 at night. We had absolutely no warning - when the lights went off suddenly in the night,... More

The place seemed so far. On arrival, the reception was not so great as we were served artificial flavoured juice. The rooms/ tents were beautiful and spacious! Just along the Talek river, we could see monkeys/baboons on the shores who come to quench their thirst. We also witnessed a weak/sick wildebeest who lay there and was later devuored by hungry... There is a few different options to visit Maasai Mara and I'm sure that we choose the best one, with incredible rooms, completely clean, just in front of the river, inside Maasai Mara, and very very lovely. Perfect for couples, family and friends. And the staff is also very nice. All of them Masai people. And the food was really... More

I went on holiday last year with my husband. The place is quiet no phone network and no TV! We had an awesome time with the other guest and enjoyed the game drives and being served by Masai men :-). The place was kinda chilly in the evening but we has mad fun and the staff warmed our beds with... More

Very nice people, accommodation, great food. We were very satisfied!!! For travel to see animals you have to get up very early, but it is the best time to see animals after night, which is for everybody very dangerous....

Our three nights in Oloshaiki were fabulous. Our tent overlooked a section of the river Tarek and we watched the daily baboon parade each lunchtime. Food was fab with loads of choices and the best lamb cops with mint sauce gravy I have ever had. Staff were charming and helpful Great place

I have lived in Kenya for two years now and after trying several camps at the Masai Mara, i finally made a permanent choice to go to Oloshaiki every time I have some guests from abroad. The camp location is excellent, the tents are massive and well equipped and the food is just great, be it buffet, a la carte... More

The camp is amazing and beautiful. From the food (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian), to the massive rooms, to the services offered from the staff is excellent. However, the Manager, Hamisi, is a very rude and disrespectful person. On the last day of the trip, when we were at the breakfast table, he did not request, but ordered us to vacate... More

The staff are quite friendly and courteous. We enjoyed our stay over the Christmas period. I would have preferred a bit of entertainment on the Christmas eve and the shower did not give warm water on the second day. Kudos to the general manger who kept the kids entertained. But overall, it was nice stay. Keep it up!

Oloshaiki is an a very good location to stay. The rooms, the camp, the food and staff are excellent. Very good service from the staff. The Manager is the worst of all. I have travelled to over 50 camps in Kenya and never witnessed such a Manager. He has treated us like we stayed at the camp free. He threw... More

“We were 6 friends together and we stayed in tent nr. 14,15 and 16. Nice and quited just overlooking the river, where the hyenas came during the night. It was beatiful and amazing. I think that all the tents have a good wiev to the river, so it really dosn't matter where you stay. You can get a hot shower all day and the decor in the tents have light and nice. You feel welcome.”
