We stayed here for 5 nights recently specifically to witness the wildebeest migration. Everything was just perfect, location, wildlife, cuisine, ambience, staff and the accommodation. We managed to see the Big 5 and we couldn't fault a thing. At dinner on our last night we were serenaded with a cake and an assortment of musical instruments (pots/pans etc) exquisitely executed...

We started our Kenyan adventure with a day in Nairobi and after spending some days at Parks and Rerserves we intended to have our final day in Nairobi visiting the elephant orphanage, Karen Blixen museum and dining at the Carnivore... However, after the days devoted entirely to animals with relatively few people around, decided we were not prepared to face...

my wife and i just got back from Kenya and stayed 2 nights at this hotel. weliked the sister hotel in samburu for several reasons. first, charging for wifi was a bad idea. second, the food did not have a great deal of choices. third, while the employees were very nice and responsive, management was very standoffish. again, only US...

Ten of us spent four nights at this lovely camp in the Massai Mara. The service was exceptional and the staff were always willing to go out of their way to help us. The location was stunning with all camps facing the river. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable. Food was excellent. We also requested for a packed breakfast and lunch...

Again the film crew of Augustijn Video Productions (AVP) selected Ashnil to settle down for 4 nights from 27/08 to 31/08/2014. The location of the camp is well chosen. Roughly 50 tents are hidden between the bushes along Mara river. That may involve a short nature walk to reach your tent. One friendly word with the staff sufficed and already...

My wife and I spent four nights at this amazing camp during our Kenya holiday. The location is overwhelming! The tents are luxurious (see my attached images) and they face the Mara River so at night you can hear the hippos with their low braying. Not to worry, there is an electrified security fence around the camp. The food was...

We stayed in 6 different hotels/tent camps in Kenya. Ashnil goes above and beyond - on food, service and the tents themselves. We had hippos in the Mara river outside of our tent. Bathroom was huge, staff was excellent. No complaints. I'd definitely return. Masai Mara is, of course, amazing. We saw so much wildlife every day we were there.

Our 3 night stay at Ashnil was very nice. We stayed in Cabin #8 which looked out onto the Mara river with the Hippos talking and the birds singing. Wonderful!! The food was very plentiful. It was quite warm while we were there and I would have liked some lighter foods to pick from. Most of the food was hot...
