From the start True Africa ensured that we were 110% organised. And when things went wrong (lost bag, forgot passports at camp et al) the True Africa team with the Naboisho staff supported us. This was by far the best organised trip we as a family have ever had - in spite of incredible rains and some mishaps. The tent-rooms...

This was our favorite tented camp on our two week safari. Troy of TrueAfrica did a fabulous job helping us plan our itinerary. Game drives were exhilarating! Guides were first rate! We especially enjoyed learning about the Masai culture and exchanging information about ourselves. A high point was our walking safari and fly camping with Roloft i.e. his knowledge and...

My partner and i went their with my parents, all of us first timers to Africa. The camp, the people and the way they naturally blend with nature just blew us away. It was off season so it was just us and two other couples from Canada. The camp was hosting Indians (from India) for the first time and they...

Great camp for the whole family! The experience of safari in an authentic site with great staff! Evelyn, the guide, is the best! It is worth to do the Walking & Night drives. The Village visit is a must! And ask to go to the Maatrust shop - where local women do beautiful bracelets and other pieces. The whole family...

This was our second camp in the Mara as we wanted to experience the Mara in a conservancy. And, yes, it does make a difference, incredible wildlife viewings but without the "crowds". This is part of the Asilia group and offers all the luxuries and impeccable food, hosting and service one would expect. The location of this camp deserves special...

I'll not take up space repeating all the enthusiastic comments of other reviewers, other than to say they are all true and more. Before we left on our trip we talked about this as being a "once in a lifetime" experience but after a day at the Naboisho Camp we were already determined to return here one day soon. I...

We are hard pressed to remember a time when our three kids -- two adults and one teen -- sat still, rapt and device-less for a whole hour. But this is what happened on a morning game drive at Naboisho with our guide Evalyn. She had brought us to the river (really just a glorified stream) to witness all the...

We spent a total of three nights at Naibosho Camp and had the most incredible time. The scenery was one thing, but the attention to detail in the rooms, preserving the wild and the guests was exceptional. We spent two nights in camp and one night Fly Camping. On the day of our arrival, we were due to go out...

Naboisho Camp is a fantastic place to enjoy the best of Africa in a extremely comfortable environment yet nature friend. Local guides, passionated camp manager (amazing walking safaris looking to all the aspects of the surroundings: big and small!) Can't wait to go back!

Naboisho Camp is a safari experience in Kenya unlike any others. Their commitment to environmental stewardship, knowledge, comfort, and maintaining strong relations with the Maasai community trumps any other safari company I have been to. The staff are smart, funny, and fun to be around. The food is fantastic. While there you will not have the normal safari experience of...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Set in the 210 km² private Mara Naboisho Conservancy, Naboisho Camp offers spectacular game viewing, from the herds of antelope that dot the plains of this wilderness corridor throughout the year to the high concentrations of predators, including lion and cheetah. But the real magic of Naboisho is its sheer exclusivity - you'll experience a level of safari solitude and serenity simply unheard of in the busy Serengeti and Maasai Mara reserves. With just nine spacious tented suites, Naboisho is an intimate and elegant safari camp that balances your wilderness experience with discreet creature comforts. Even better, it is one of just two Asilia camps where you have the option of fly camping. If you have a truly adventurous spirit, don't miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to immerse yourself in the magic of the African bush. ... more   less
