We stayed for two nights at Sopa Lodge as part of a service group after-work safari. The hotel and rooms and lodge are beautiful, as are the grounds. I did not use the pool, as it was a bit chilly when we were there, but it is beautiful, as well. The food was excellent, with a large variety. The one...

This was our first Lodge in Kenya. On arrival we were greeted with a cooling drink and refreshing face cloth. This level of service and attention to guests was maintained throughout our 2 night stay. The rooms were spacious and bottled water was provided at no extra cost. Meals were generally buffet style and there was a good selection. The...

Location is good. Surrounded by forest and wild life not far off. Big fire place and bar laundering that serves all sort of drinks. Even a person like me had non alcoholic mock tail. Restaurant people are very very friendly and serve you with a smile. Rooms are okay. Walk in net to protect from insect was good. Furniture was...

Mara sopa Lodge is located outside of the park it is a decent Lodge the grounds are nice and the rooms spacious. The walls between rooms are very thin you can hear everything. The food was buffet style and just ok and the service was average. My only reason for giving it 2 stars instead of three is their ridiculous...

Meet and greet was very friendly, surprised to see it has 100 rooms. The rooms are well set out and plenty of space, for the sad people that need to look at Wi-Fi all the time, they have to use the main reception area, we prefer to take to people. The power to the rooms is not on all the...

We visited mid last December. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The meals were delicious, staff(Charity) went above and beyond to ensure my picky young son had an alternative meal choice. The swimming pool water temperature was a bit cold, I would suggest investing in a pool cover. This would reduce swimming pool heating cost, in addition it would...

Stayed here for two nights and had a fabulous time far better than I thought. Beds were comfortable, mosquito nets very good, service good, food good. The Pollman safari vehicles were very good. We were so lucky with the time of travel arrived on 4th January and the weather was fab and we saw so many animals was amazing. Chris...

Located high on the slopes of the Oloolaimutia Hills, Masai Mara Sopa Lodge was one of the first safari lodges to be built in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, a reason why its gardens and trees are so lush and mature. All the buildings follow the design of traditional African round houses with conical roofs, and these stretch along the...

After entryway registration you go down stairs to very large and pleasant dining area, Buffett style, and a large circle lounge & bar area that greets you upon your arrival. The rooms are very clean, comfortable beds and clean bathroom. We were in room 23 that was closest to the lodge. A nice veranda outside of the room to sit...

We loved the spacious accommodations -- our hut came with two large bedrooms, each with large en-suite bathroom, a lounge in between, and a verandah out front. The dining room served buffet meals with a nice variety of food. The Nile River perch was outstanding. We requested a picnic box one day, and it came with a piece of chicken,...
