The Royal Mara Lodge was indeed a positive experience for our very first safari trip together with our two children aged 9 and 5. The staff are quite friendly, the guides try to do their best and there was consideration for children which is not very common for lodges in this part of the world. We would choose the Royal...

We stayed at the Royal Mara Safari lodge for 13 nights (the longest stay in the lodge!!!). What to say, ALL WAS AMAZING AND UNFORGETTABLE: the location, the room, the service, the food, the environment, the owners, the park, the animals… We liked all of our stay, the breakfast near the Mara River, reading books on our veranda and at...

We stayed at the Royal Mara for 2 nights/3 days and it was the most amazing experience. We booked the safari via JT Safaris (www.julius-safaris.com). This was our 2nd visit to the Masai Mara and both times we booked with Julius. He runs a reliable, friendly and professional company who are very competitive on price. We would always recommend to...

Don't know where to begin as the whole experience was out of this world! We stayed as a family with 2 children aged 6 and 8 to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary, the lodge caters really well for the children and as a family you get your own guide and vehicle to ensure you don't spoil the safari trips of...

We flew from mombassa to the mara, and booked with Glorious Safari's, who i would highly recommend. I hate flying and for this reason would probably not do an air safari again, the flights were hair raising to say the least!! We did get great views of Kilimanjaro when i peeked long enough to see!! We were met in the...

I can not express just how fantastic this lodge really is, but I will try my best to describe just how this experience became truly a once in a lifetime experience that left us lost for words for 3 days and 2 nights.
