Wow! What a place - what a park. This is our 8th trip to Africa. We have been to Kruger, Etosha, Lower Zambezi, Chobe, Hwange, and Ruaha. The Maasai Mara blows them all away. We booked our 4 night stay at Entim because of the Tripadvisor reviews. Everything was fantastic. Joyce did our reservation from the home office in Narobi. She was super helpful and always responded to my numerous emails promptly. At the camp, the managers David and Juliet did a great job and whoever hired Joseph the chef is to be commended. However a special thanks to our guide and driver Joseph Njapit. I am sure that all the guides here are great, but I am also sure that he is the best guide in all of Africa. If the owners of the camp are reading this - give him a raise in pay! We saw more wildlife than you can imagine, including thousands and thousands of the more than a million wildebeest and zebras crossing the river in the migration. Go ahead - book a trip to Entim now!

This camp is a hidden Gem in the Mara! Simple, yet beyond perfect in its own way. The closest you can get to being and feeling right in the heart of this beautiful paradise of wildlife. It’s the real experience. The sounds of all the animals are amazing to hear. The hippos come visit at night and feed on the grass right outside our tents. The evening bonfires are so serene against the sunset. The fact that this camp is more private and less commercial is the icing on the cake. And the STAFF are the most amazing! The hospitality, service and attention to detail provided by the entire staff at Entim was incredible and very heart warming. They truly go above and beyond. The food was great and we enjoyed every moment of being there. The tents are cozy and very comfortable as well and the best part, this camp is close to all the wildlife. Right by the Mara river. It’s perfect! And highly recommended for those looking for a wild fun adventure!

You won’t find a camp in the Mara with a more picture perfect location or better staff. Couldn’t find something to complain about even if I dug deep. The tents, common areas, food and individual service is stellar. My highest recommendation for this spot.

My wife and I spent 4 days here at Entim in the Mara. You will want for nothing from the moment you come into the camp to the moment you leave. Juliette the camp manager welcomes you right away and shows you the beauty of the lounge, camp and river. The entire staff will be at your beckon call. We've never experienced more high end hospitality than here. The camps location itself is priceless, sitting right on the Mara river. Ask for Marvin and Titus when dining and you wont regret it, but the entire staff is exceptional. The dinning and culinary experience is 5 stars. The Maasai guards are onsite 24/7 ensuring your safety and adds to this unique experience. This is high end luxury tent experience you will never forget. The sounds of the Hippos each evening walking on the property is serenity.

I stayed at the Entim with my boyfriend for 3 nights, as part of a 6 day safari trip through the Masai Maara and surrounding areas. We were really blown away by the service, the food, the tents, the environment, and the friendly and personalized reception by all members of staff. In short: this place is through and through excellent. It was a true highlight of our trip to the Masai Maara. Hotel/camp The camp is located in the middle of the Maara. It takes time to get there but it is well worth it. The environment and atmosphere are incredible - you literally live in the savanna, among the animals (the camp has staff to ensure everyone’s safety, and we always felt very safe). Surrounding the hotel, we saw and/or heard hippos, hyenas, lions and many more animals I cannot name. Highlights: a G&T at the porch in the sunset, dinner in the bush (available on request), nightly bonfire, trip to the river with the Maasai staff. Accommodation We stayed in an amazing tent (which is really more like an actual room with its own bathroom) which overlooked the Maara river and the savanna. The tent (and the service that came with it) was impeccable, and the interior design really beautiful. Highlights: napping after a game drive in the afternoon sun, drinking tea at the tent’s porch, nightly hot-water bottles in our bed(!!) Food The food at the Entim was excellent and by far the best we had throughout our 8 day stay in Kenya. There is a daily menu with a few items to choose between, although the chef is very skilled and can accommodate for many other requests. Given the size and location of the camp (it’s right in the middle of the Maara- I can’t imagine food deliveries being an easy task), we found the menu very generous and varied. Highlight: all meals - we loved it! Staff The service was truly one if a kind. The Entim is small and personable - we were addressed by first name by most staff, which gave the whole experience a very familial touch. Hotel managers Juliet and David checked in with us on a daily basis to see that we had everything we needed. All staff really went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing experience. We were seriously impressed by their attention to detail and ability to figure out what we wanted or might need before we even knew :-) Highlight: the entire team :-) thanks a lot for making our stay so memorable! Length of stay I can recommend to stay at least 2 nights, ideally no less than 3 however (we did 3). Next time I go back, I will add an extra night only to be able to enjoy the camp more. Most day time was spent doing game drives, which was fantastic, though next time I’d like to spread it out over more days.
