Loved this hotel. From its spectacular foyer, to the trendy rooms (with power blinds!), the superb shower, the awesome pool, good wifi, free minibar and snacks and great food in the restaurants (chicken Parma on the menu!). The staff were all very helpful and friendly and I loved their funky outfits. Probably the best fancy hotel I've stayed at in...

When I first checked into the hotel, I was mildly put off by its minimalism. It looked like a former warehouse put to temporary use by the Cirque du Soliel. When I first entered my king-bed room, it seemed all walls and floor. But over the course of my three-day stay, I warmed to the place. The wooden sinks, shower,...

I used to live in Beijing and this time was after I moved to another city for 7 months. Finally I got a reason to stay at The Opposite House as a guest! What's better than someone said welcome back right when you step out from the cab? Team was very friendly and made me felt like I was in...

We’ve spend two nights in Beijing, unfortunately a bit too short to make much use of the Hotel facilities, but what we’ve heard from our co-travelers also the pool and sauna are great. The design of the Hotel is just fantastic, just the blueprint of my dream city hotel. A (very) slight downside was that our room (the 90 sqm...

This place was the height of comfort and the design is really so good. A friend who lives in Beijing had recommended it, steering us away from the chain hotels and we were so glad he did. The wood bathtubs and sinks are absolutely beautiful and our room just made me happy. The technology with the lights is highly sophisticated...

Just got back from 5 days at The Opposite House; it was a serene oasis in one of the busiest cities I know. Beautiful rooms, assuming you like crisp white walls, natural wood floors, cedar bath tubs etc and not something more baroque. Staff genuinely warm and competent. Gorgeous swimming pool too.
