The beds are huge in fact the entire rooms are very spacious. There is a mini kitchen area with fridge, office workspace with wifi, shower and bath. The staff are friendly and the food delicious. I would recommend this hotel. Location is good.
First Hotel on our tour. Rooms are above average in size and the beds are hard (but every single bed is hard in china) you get use to them and there is no back problem. :-). Food is average except the mushroom soup (it was...More

The wifi is good at the hotels. Email and texting go well with strong connections. Just remember they block a lot of websites. One of my friends had her phone shut down temporarily for trying to access Yahoo!

I'm sorry I have only just seen this question. We were picked up by our tour company so I have no experience to advise you of. However there were lots of buses, not tour company, waiting to transport travellers to wherever they were going. Also there is a huge transport hub at the airport, trains, taxis etc to get you around. I suggest you google what's available. The airport website would probably be if assistance also (if there is one). As for cost, I really have no idea but Beijing is not, generally, very cheap.
