This is an ok cheap place to stay and very close to the Forbidden City, T Square, food markets, etc. Its not so much a hostel but more of a very cheap hotel. Rooms are ok. A bit rough around the edges and need of modernisation, but relatively clean and spacious. Other facilities are not great. There is a tour...

Round bed, mirrored ceilings... Not sure if this was standard in the hotel or if my boyfriend thought it was funny! Still, clean and convenient for all the sights. Helpful when organising sightseeing trips. Nice little restaurant attached that was very accommodating when I got very sick (they got me the cornflakes I so desperately wanted at 9pm!). A good...

Had a nice stay at this central hotel. We had two small children and the double was only offered on the second night even though we had booked it. Anyway no big problem for one night. We stayed for about a week between trips to Xian. The bar there has good selection of cheap food that was good enough. For...

The hotel is located at walking distances from places you want to see and subway is not far away. Rooms are ok. Our booking included breakfast, but we had to start a little discussion to get them. The staff is polite but not really friendly. Even if I keep in mind the rooms are cheap, I would not stay there...

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Rooms are dirty, damp and in need of repair. WiFi& internet is very slow and often not working. Breakfast is poor, I actually went round the corner to Jade Hotel and had a full breakfast and that was better value.

We stayed there in our first leg and the location is perfect. Right next to the Forbidden City. Rooms aren't that great though, pretty damp and not that clean either. Reception staff were quite helpful and even organised a mini bus trip to Mutianyu. Wifi wasn't working all the time. Didn't try the restaurant as they didn't offer anything Chinese....

The Location is great, its close to the Forbidden city and it has a bus stop right in front. The first room we had had a window towards the hallway and smelled like mold, we asked if we could switch room and they gave us one with a window facing the outside. That room was great and clean. They also...
