I choose this hostel because of the good location. The room was fine, it was the other fellow 'local' who stayed in the 4 bed-dorm that was the problem. Lets just say the room was choked with cigarette smoke all night, and the no-smoking in room policy was not enforced. The local man, in his late 40s, brought back a...

Hostel did not honor my fully prepaid on-line reservation, leaving me without a place to stay on a holiday weekend in Beijing. Only Chinese spoken. I was charged 170RMB for a room with a stinking open drain, and then told no other rooms were available for the weekend. Needless to say, I was very disappointed.
