Stayed here for a couple of nights on my own, in one of their 6-bed dorms. It was really quite comfortable and I'm happy with the quality for the low price they charged me. Their staff are friendly and they have a nice lounge area, although the wifi is really quite slow.

Fantastic location, tucked into an authentic Beijing hutong, but a 10-minute walk from the fun craziness of Nanluoguxiang. Also a 2-minute walk from the Zhangzizhonglu station. If you are coming in on the Airport Express subway, may be easiest to take a taxi from Dongzhimen. And a motorbike taxi is often fastest, if there is traffic (around RMB20). Otherwise, it's... More

This is an excellent spot. Perfect location, lovely staff, good rooms with very comfortable beds and great showers. Lovely staff, great food menu. Zero complaints and would definitely stay here again if I was back in Beijing!

Peking Yard Hostel, Beijing Pro's: cozy communal area with relaxing couches, friendly and helpfull staff, decent espresso, situated near a metro station, decent double room, roof top terrace. A quiet space in busy Beijing. Cons: slow WIFI, roof top use at night leads tot noise, tucked away in a small street makes in a bit difficult to find, bathroom neads... More

I stayed at this hostel for four nights, and it exceeded my expectations. The location is really good. It's very close to a subway station and is very easy to find if you're coming by way of the airport subway. The staff was very friendly. They arranged for me to go see the Great Wall, and that was really fun.... More

A very beautiful and comfortable hostel, with a great location which made travelling by subway very convenient. The staff were really lovely, especially Yenzi who was very friendly and a big help during our stay. Thank you for making our stay such a great one! :-) If I get the chance to come back to Beijing again, I would definitely... More

The positives: close proximity to the subway for getting around, restaurants close by, wifi in cafe/communal area works majority of the time, room is warm, the cafe/communal area is clean, well priced for a big city. The not so positives: the hallways of the sleeping quarters smell like the sewer, the shower dribbles hot/warm/cold water (depending on what it feels... More

We spent 5 days here in a 6 bed mixed dorm. The beds were a really generous size for singles, the bathroom was clean and the water hot. Metro station literally a minutes walk away. The common room is really pretty and comfortable. There is a pool table, and book swap available. The WIFI wasn't very reliable - 1 minute... More

I absolutely love how the people behind Peking Yard Hostel has done up the place. The layout of the courtyard abode of old Beijing has been preserved. Tastefully furnished and decorated common areas especially around the front reception also adds to the great experience. The rooftop terrace can be a nice place to hang out too though the freezing cold... More
