Dear Hiroshi san, Thank you for staying with us at Swissotel Beijing and your loyal membership in our Circle Club. I appreciate your nice comments regarding our location and position within the city. Your visit coincided with People's Congress which has added security measures and does require more attention. Regardless I do understand your frustration with our hotel and I...

Dear Zack Z, Thank you for staying with us at Swissotel Beijing. I appreciate your comments about the hotel, however I am a bit confused about where the downtown you are talking about. We are 15 minutes walking distance to Sanlitun and couple of stations away from most tourist attraction such as Tianamon Square, Forbidden City. Our train line is...

The hotel is quite old but the rooms are well equipped. We chose it because of its great location, right at the metro and walking distance to Sanlitun. Also, it has a decent-sized swimming pool and a great gym. Considering the prices in Sanlitun, if you are looking for a hotel that's affordable/on the cheaper side and offers a pool...

I've stayed here twice last year, once got a room upgrade which made my stay a lot more convenient. All in all, this really shouldn't be a five-star hotel, rooms and service just aren't up to par. To be fair, room rates are lower than most other five-star hotels as well but I know four-star hotels in Beijing that I...

Good location, right by a metro station - the metro system is excellent by the way. The hotel was quiet which meant that staff were sometimes over attentive in the Bar area. Rooms were adequate and comfortable.

This was my second visit to Beijing in last 3 years, and staying in same place. I liked the hotel. Room was quite spacious, had a view of the main road. In both my visits, it was quite cold, bit snowing, but room was very comfortable. The subway station (Dongsishitiao) was just touching the boundary wall of hotel, very convenient....

Hotel is just next to the D Exit of Doing Si Shi Tiao Station of Line 2 which gives you great access to several important sightseeing places in the city. Hotel is situated in Sanlitun - embassy district of Beijing which makes the area foreigner friendly (if you are looking for that in China). These were the upsides of my...

The Swissotel is a good hotel, rooms a quite nice, but you see, that it is be getting a bit long in the tooth. A good connection from/to the airport and the Sanlitun Bar Street with many restaurants and bars is just foot walking distance (ok, 20min)

We stayed here at the beginning of our tour of China. The hotel is well located right next to the underground station, only a few stops from the Lama temple, where in a nearby hutong there was a nice selection of restaurants to visit in the evening. The breakfast was very good and extensive.
