The Peninsula had a total renovation and it is beautiful. If you want the best , this is the hotel you want. The service, the attention and the smiles makes you feel right at home. Their Chinese restaurant has the best Cantonese dim sum, and make sure you don't miss the shrimp dumplings. The water they have in their room...

The unfailing graciousness, high quality of service in every respect and relentless personal attention all make the Beijing Peninsula my favorite hotel in Asia over 16 years of working and living in the region. The upgrades though long and inconvenient, have made a world of difference and were worth the effort. My advice to any visitor: make the acquaintance of...

This hotel is so comfortable - I was only staying one night and wished it was longer. The bed was so comfortable, bathroom amazing, fingertip screen control for heating, lighting, curtains, music - I could have stayed in the room all day! Service was faultless from check-in onwards it was perfect. I stayed 2 nights in Beijing - one at...

Mari Li the Peninsula Ambassador is the star attraction at this lovely hotel. The newly renovated rooms look great. Miss the exec lounge and all the the camaraderie it fostered. I had stayed here in the past with my Mom and we had some good times there. But the hotel was smart and made Mary Li (who used to supervise...

The renovations were spoken highly of so we booked to stay here. The lobby is beautiful if a bit uninspired. Service was very good. Not perfect, but good. Seems like they're still getting their footing but will hopefully get it soon. They did warn us about the ongoing construction, but the hotel was not full and you would have thought...

There is a wide selection of teas, including the traditional ones, herbal and premium quality teas. While the three-tiered silver stand is adorned with Christmas delicacies, such as a Mont Blanc hazelnut mousse cake, gingerbread-flavored scones with fruit confit and a giant European-style Stollen cake with homemade hazelnut spread served from the dessert trolley. Also available, for an additional price:...

We travel extensively and have stayed in luxury hotels in the USA, Europe, Asia etc. I never write reviews, however, I feel compelled to write one about our stay in the Peninsula, Beijing. We stayed in this hotel while it was under renovation (actually it was more like a construction site). While the rooms were comfortable, the noise level from...

Perfect in every way! The greatest highlight of our Asia tour. Definitely a huge upgrade of The Peninsula Shanghai. After our stay at Peninsula Beijing, The Peninsula Shanghai let us a little bit disappointed somehow. The Peninsula Beijing is brand new, better decorated and much more modern. The service at Peninsula Beijing was definitely impeccable and special. The room is...

Nice place to stay especially for its location. Within walking distance is the night market with various food stalls. We ate there for dinner on our first night in Beijing but did not feel as though the food was fresh, so we instead we found a noodle spot just across the street from the hotel, and we would frequently go...
