Luckily we only had to stay here for one night. As previous reviewers have said the staff were very unhelpful, the cost for the room was out of proportion to the comfort. The food in TGI's next door was great. The only redeeming feature for me was the fact you are in a plum spot for the Birds Nest Stadium.

This hotel was booked for me as part of a business trip to Beijing, to give this review some immediate context me colleague only lasted 2 days before checking out and moving to the Hotel Eclat. This hotel has one of the grandest foyers of any hotel with one exception, no lobby seating... you are meant to stand and wait...

Unless you are visiting the Birds Nest Stadium avoid. The staff were in the main rude and unhelpful. I was given a twin room despite asking for a double and had to ask to be switched. At first the reception seemed unwilling to do this but given I was staying there for 14 nights they finally relented. The reading light...

I was a guest at the hotel for two weeks and was very pleased with the stability of the internet (with free WiFi), the pleasant staff at the information desk and housekeeping, and general efforts to get things right. The room was large, the bed comfortable, and the tub with stand-alone shower was very nice. While housekeeping did a good...

This hotel is just adjacent to the 'Bird's Nest' and the whole Olympic area is within easy walking distance. The National Congress building is a ten minute walk away. Olympic Green subway station is a convenient 15 minutes walking distance and if you get proper advive the bus stop is also quite near. Thus communication is convenient even if you...

The hotel was booked and paid for by my customer and is a reasonable hotel but not the deluxe hotel as claimed. The room was clean but given it is only 7 years old the bathroom is 'tired' and whilst clean (except sticky floor) there are mould patches appearing and panels were damaged. A/C doesn't work properly (stuck on 25C)...

My customer kindly booked and paid for this stay so I feel a bit guilty in criticising the place but this is NOT a good option for an overseas business traveller in Beijing! The place may of been OK for the Olympics and if you like looking at unused Olympic buildings it's close to many of them. However the rooms...

This hotel was booked for me by a colleague who lives in Beijing. I was lucky to be upgraded to a lovely suite which is very spacious, and has a view of the stadium right next door. (Beautiful at night) The price is very fair compared to other places I've stayed. My room is extremely clean and comfortable, and the...

Visited this hotel for approx. 1 week to visit a large exhibition with work in the nearby conference centre. I chose it for it's location for my business needs together with it's close proximity to the cube and bird's nest stadium. The room was nice enough, pretty standard for a hotel of its classification in Beijing and the food in...

This hotel looks nice but the people running it are not educated on service or courteous behavior. The room had a broken heat/cooling system. I called room service and they would not help me.. I called the Manager and he refused to switch my room and just kept hanging up on me. The room was over 30 degrees C. I...
