This hotel is located near all technology centers and that is the best part. Non-Chinese speakers may have difficulty. Very few people seem to speak any English. Breakfast is OK. All facilities are average.

I have stayed in Jade Palace numerous times over the last 10 years because of its proximity to various institutes of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Over this period, its service and ambience have deteriorated. During my last trip even though I got the same room as in December but I was overcharged. The management claimed that in Dec, i... More

This is a 5 star Beijing hotel which has the quality you expect. Rooms are large and comfortable with good daily housekeeping service. You get conveniently two bottles of water daily and all complementary tea and coffee are resupplied daily. The breakfast is excellent featuring Chinese and Western options. Chinese breakfast has both rice porridge and wonton noodles and vegetables.... More

It is a good hotel with comfortable rooms and service, somewhat commercial and not very personal or cozy. It is in a good location, but not particularly appealing for tourism. All in all, I recommend it if you get a good price.

When I arrived at this hotel, everything was just okay. Room check in run smoothly, room and the complimentary breakfast was nice as well. Unfortunately, we had a very hard time whenever we call for room service, ask some questions from the helpdesk or any kind of communication with the hotel staff. They don't speak english and they even can't... More

We stayed at this Hotel while on a Nexus holiday trip. The Hotel is very large. It has clean, comfortable, large rooms; however be prepared for very firm mattresses. Despite that I would stay at this hotel again. It is a considerable distance from the centre of Beijing, and you will need public transport or a taxi to get there.... More

Hotel is utilized by Nexus China tours and can handle large groups. However, if you stay here, limit your expectations of this hotel compared to others through out China. The lobby is large and clean, however the returant cooking oil smell permeiates through out the lobby. This hotel is not for families as on the lower floor there are "massage... More

Was on the same Nexus tour group as the others I was pleasantly surprised at the room size but the beds were rock hard, they did bring an extra blanket to put on top of the mattress but did not help. I took the cushions off the couch in the room and slept on those. Narrow but at least comfortable.... More

The Nexus tour used this hotel as their base for the China Sampler tour. 4 nights in the Jade Palace. The Hotel was better than we were expecting with good size bedroom, good lobby, great breakfast (although additional seating would have been useful based on occupancy of the hotel). Never slept on a bed that was so hard but, after... More

We were on a Nexus tour so being situated in the business district on a very busy road, between the 3rd -4th ring roads was not a problem..but to some it could be rather isolated.. subway is a 2 minute walk with the downtown area taking 45 min. There is a Mcdonalds nearby and Walmart 15 mins by foot ,no... More
