It used to be the hot spot years ago but it is getting behind, in terms of both quality service and facility/conditions. Un-desirable odour or smell along corridors etc and derelict carpet in rooms were not expected. it has totally lost its earlier glory and splendour, unfortunately.

Central, comfortable, clean, medium priced, not luxury but good quality for the price. Nice enough breakfast, enough western food to satisfy and plenty of Chinese food. lots of fruit. Nice view of a lake - great for an early morning walk.

This has to be the worst bed I have ever slept on. Felt as though I was sleeping on a plank. No springs and no padding. I didn't get the replacement I requested, but at least they folded a blanket a couple of times and put that under the sheet. As expected, within an few minutes the blanket had compressed... More

Don't let the fine pictures on their website fool you: this is not a 4 star hotel, far from it. The rooms were really stained and worn out. All the surfaces need cleaning. Especially the carpets were awful. They claim to be a non smoking hotel but I had to change my room because it smelled very badly of smoke.... More

This hotel was pretty cheap, and it's in a great location, only three or four stops West of Tian'anmen Square on Line 1. The lobby looked OK. My room was a single room, and it was very small. The bed was hard, but not unmanageably so, and the wired Internet was OK. The brown-tinted windows made the room a bit... More

I stayed there for three nights some time back and still remember this place. Not a luxurious one. but location, food and service was OK. Cleanliness of the room was also good. As language is a common problem in china, it applies to this place as well. No one really understand what we need. But generally this is a good... More

Room's small and old, so is the whole building. Price's usually high because lots of convention held here. Near Century temple and CCTV station. Only a short walk to military museum and 2-stop-distance to the Railway station.

I spent few nights at the hotel and had the advantage of having a local guy as my translator/guide who helped getting the most out of the hotel. Only few members of staff spoke English, for instance a call to the room service took several people to find someone with English skills. Fairly large and clean enough room with comfy... More

I stayed here for 3 nights on business, and the selection of this hotel was made by my hosts because it was close to our meetings. It seemed to me that no one in the hotel actually spoke English, and no one really understood what I was asking about. Also, the area of the hotel is not a touristy area.... More

This was the second time I had stayed at this hotel while in Beijing for a week at work. I have no choice as to where I stay as the hotel is booked by the company I am working with over there and as they own this hotel, it's where I go! They've made a slight effort over the past... More
