To get to Tiananmen Square from Hotel Éclat would take you anywhere from 33 min to 54 min by public transport. Much easier to take taxi as it's inexpensive. However, (1) you can walk 17 min to the Yong'anli metro station (4... More
To get to Tiananmen Square from Hotel Éclat would take you anywhere from 33 min to 54 min by public transport. Much easier to take taxi as it's inexpensive. However, (1) you can walk 17 min to the Yong'anli metro station (4 stops) alight at Tian'anmen East station take exit A (Northwest exit) and walk 6 min to the square. (2) You can also Walk 2 min from Hotel Éclat and grab bus 28 to SK station (not sure it stops at Yong'anli metro station (if it does get off at Yong'anli and take metro) otherwise take the bus to SK walk 1 min to Guomao metro station (3 stops) and get off at Tian'amen East Station take exit A and walk 6 min to the square. (3) If adventurous, you can walk from Hotel Éclat to Bus stop opposite Bank Of Beijing (Fangcaodi Branch) take bus 120 or 126 and alight 6 stops at Tian'anmen East stop then walk 6 min to the square (by the way this is the longest time of the 3 options). Still best options is for Hotel to call you a DD taxi to take you there (don't forget to get hotel direction card) then when done flag a taxi on street to take you back to the Hotel. Flash them Hotel direction card and they should get you there.
