We loved our stay here, it's relaxed and friendly and the staff are really helpful. The location is also brilliant - we really enjoyed exploring the Hutongs and there's some amazing food just round the corner! There are several tube stops not too far away...More
I find the location rather good - less than 10 minutes walking to the metro stop, and just a few stops from Tiananmen and Forbidden City, lots of restaurants and shops and it's in a hutong, so you get the real Beijing feeling. Some people...More
We stayed here for about a week. We had a room on the first floor; was happy with that because can imagine a room on ground level has some noise from the courtyard. Our aircon wasn't working so well, but the staff fixed it for...More
With four short days in Beijing, the central location of this hostel was perfect. We planned nothing ahead of time and looked to the staff to provide recommendations. They were INCREDIBLY helpful and honest. We ended up enjoying our stay a lot more than we...More

It depends on the season. If you're going during high season (check online for when that might be), it's advisable to book well in advance. When I went last December though (which is low season), I booked about three weeks ahead of time and it was no problem...there were still plenty of rooms available when I was staying there.
They're pretty good about responding to emails, so you can try contacting them to be sure. It's a great place, hope you enjoy!

I would imagine they would do this, just email them and ask. We paid them to pick us up at the airport at about 8-9pm I think, I can't remember how much but it was a rate for the pick up plus a small fee to pay for the driver's parking ticket. Our plane was late but they had the flight details and knew when to be there. Enjoy China!
