The very best thing about this hostel is its location. You are in the perfect location for Forbidden City, Tienanmen Square and the Metro (which is fabulous an cheap). Great for backpackers or those looking for a cheap place to lay your head while you take in all Beijing has to offer. Staff are helpful and most speak excellent English...

I originally booked this place as a hotel, but they seem to advertise themselves as a hostel as well, no real issue for me but it might be if you don't like finding yourself among backpacking tourists. The staff spoke only very limited English but were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast costs 30RMB and has a reasonable selection of...

A clean hotel in a great location. The staff were easy to deal with without much of a language barrier. The rooms were small but clean and good value for money, although the old air con system made the room feel damp at times. The location was great, situated at the edge of an old hutong area and within easy...

a nice hotel, service is OK, relatively clean for the very low price paid. Air Con, TV, in-room showers, elevator, breakfast service (even if not excellent, tbh). A fairly good hotel for Beijing visitors on travel who don't expect top-class luxury. Location is centric (shops, night market, forbidden city) but far from the heart of the nightlife or the cool...

It has a great location, walking 10 min to Forbidden city. Double rooms are clean and big enough. I have stayed 1 night in 4-bed dormitory which is a little small for 4 people, but the bathroom is in the room. All in all completely adequate (and fairly cheap choice in central Beijing.

Not reading or speaking Mandarin, we could not have had a such a successful trip without the help from the staff at the Jade Hotel. They provided us with taxi, bus and subway information by writing directions in Mandarin that we could show to the drivers. They even booked our train to X'ian and reserved an excellent hotel for us...

The Jade is in walking distance to a number of attractions including The forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Qiananmen, and Wang Fu Jing. Rooms are a little on the small side but how much time do you spend in your room when touring. There is ethernet in the rooms and wifi is available in the downstairs lobby. Breakfast was included in...

I have stayed there for one week which was full of disopointments, room service is not changing anything but taking out the garbage, there is only one receptionist who understands you in english which is lydia, but sadly she is on nightshift, the rest of them does not even notice you, the location is acceptable but without the exact map...

This place has a fabulous location right in the heart of the main tourist district, walking distance from Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and Wangfujing. It's also a short walk from the number one metro line. It feels more like a hotel than a hostel, and has some of the cheapest rooms inside the first ring road. I stayed here...

I stayed here due to good reviews here in Trip Advisor. I can say that I was not disappointed. This place is ideal for those on budget & only wish to explore the city for less than 5-days. Location really is the best asset of this place. It's a 15-min walk to Tian'anmen Square/ Forbidden City / Beijing National Theatre....
