Stayed here for the World Championships. Location goof for the games and for getting around Beijing as its a short walk to the fantastic metro system. Also a short walk is the Drum and Bell towers. Other than that location not good - areas nearby quite poor/dirty. Struggled to find a good place to eat out. The hotel was ok....

This hotel was part of a 15 day package tour of China. Our tour group was ideally small, ( 6 people), and this hotel was our first stop. We went a day early to enjoy some sites not on our package tour. So glad we did. The hotel is nicely decorated. Our room was clean, very nice and quiet. We...

Traveled to Beijing for business and chose to stay here on account of it being close to the location of business activity. Wouldn't recommend to tourists traveling to to Beijing, as there are better, cheaper and more favorably located hotels. Taxi to central districts (e.g. San Litun) was about 20-25 RMB each way when no traffic congestion, and 50+ RMB...

We were on a tour of the Beijing and were booked at this hotel. We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. When we got to the room the air condition was working off and on. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, but was so exhausted from the long flight. Breakfast the next morning was OK. Chinese and Western style food....

TV is not working, thus you cannot have access to the internet. and by the way, the only 'other than CCTV channel which plays american movies would be the HBO....

Stayed here a part of 2 week package tour of China. Room was OK but a bit tired, bed comfortable, Air Con sort of worked some of the time. Breakfast was most certainly not international, choice very limited if you want western style. Having read other comments on here re check out i was prepared for 'we have to check...

Worst experience ever checking out. First they accused us of stealing a (very poor quality) bath mat when we hadn't even been supplied with one. Then they wanted us to pay for a new facecloth as they said they were unable to wash the one we had left in our room (it had makeup on it). Absolutely dreadful and very...

Caution! This hotel have a check out policy that you are required to wait until they review the room in case something is missing. I can find this understanding BUT in this hotel they take this rutine a step forward. They will bring a list of "defects", many of them with the idea to embarrased you. They will charge you...

Stayed at this hotel as part of a tour package. Here's a synopsis: Plus: Rooms comfortable Negative: Air conditioning settings don't work. Apparently the controls in your room are for show only. Plus: AU 240V powerpoints available. Negative: Breakfast is a tad ordinary and others in my group have seen a distinct lack of hygiene from the wait staff. Mostly...
