Please pay attention that this is more a place with apartments than a hotel. The price is a bit higher than it is worse, but you get a two-floor apartment with two bathrooms, a fully equiped kitchen, huge windows with automatic curtains, water bottles as compliment, plus all the usual facilities and a gym. However, make sure you need all...

I lived here in a 1-bed apartment for a year from June 2010 to June 2011 whilst on an expat assignment in Beijing. The first thing to say is that the staff there are lovely and do try their best, even if the level of English spoken is mixed - some can speak it very well but others can speak...

Did a lot of research before booking this place for one night in Beijing. Found out it was under the umbrella of the Somerset group, but not actually labelled a Somerset in the name. On checking in, I discovered why. Half-heartedly greeted by a man with poor English who preceeded to check me in under another guests name which had...

We spent two weeks in a one-bedroom apartment. It wasn't fancy, but it was very comfortable and spacious. Cable TV included CNN, Star Movies, Bloomberg, and a couple other english speaking channels. You need an ethernet cable (provided) to connect to the internet (no wireless). Breakfast was provided in the nearby coffee house. It consisted of eggs, toast, yoghurt, and...

Room is spacious. Only drawback is a bit old but maintained quite well. No Wifi. If you want to online, need to go to MCS coffee shop (the place where you have your breakfast). Staff - Incredible good service Good Chinese restauratnt nearby called - Na Jia Xiao Guan (那家小馆). One of the best food I have ever had in...

We stayed here for 2 days. The location is great, near restaurants, subway. The bathrooms are very dated, old showers, beds clean. Had to ask for enough towels, pillows for all of us, since there wasn't the adequate amount. The entire place smelled of cigarette smoke, but so does everything else in China. The staff were very helpful and efficient.,...

We just checked out after spending 8 nights in a 2br apartment. We arrived in Beijing after a 14 hour flight from the US, jetlagged and exhausted. The two floor, 2 bedroom apartment was perfect four our family of four (two parents and kids age 4 and 7) to recover from jetlag. There were different rooms where we could go...

Have stayed from 11-17 November. Overall, it was a pleasant stay experience in Luxury Residence. The nearest train station is Jian Guo Men station and it takes around 10-20 mins walk from Jian Guo Men station to the apartment. U would need to walk through an underpass and pass through Scientech Plaza in order to get to the apartment. The...

Though we stayed in three different cities, this was the last leg of our trip, and for whatever reason I was slightly apprehensive about the accomodation (probably because the other two places turned out so well, and I thought to myself, no way we can get three in a row - but we did!). Staff do their best to be helpful but only a few of them can communicate efficiently in English at this time (May 2010). Incidently the Deputy Manager (excellent customer service by email) just called me to assure me that they will make more effort to hire better English-speaking staff or train their local staff better. I recommend the place because...
