This is a lovely hotel situated directly above one of the subway stations. Having said that it is not noisy or busy. It is walking distance to many attractions. The subway system is efficient, clean and cheap. Don't hesitate to use it. Our room was huge and well appointed. It was a tiny bit dated. We did have executive lounge... More

This is one of the top class hotels located in the Metropolitan. I like it's location, Outlook and services. Though Regent's rates are little higher but in contrast to services I think it's better. You can enjoy its environment.

This hotel was wonderful to stay it. Beautifully decorated, helpful staff, and a view to boot! We were upgraded to a premium room on arrival, and had a view of the Forbidden City. The room was simply perfect, and the deep soaking tub was a Godsend at the end of each very cold, busy day. The Italian restaurant on site... More

During our recent visit to Beijing we stayed here. This is a very nice hotel but overpriced and I did not like the food it was overpriced and expensive. Seven U.S. dollars for a soda. We ate breakfast here and after one experience we ate the rest of our breakfasts at a nearby Starbucks. The room was nice and clean... More

We really enjoyed great service and food here. We were adviced to upgrade to the executive lounge access and boy was that a great idea. They had the most cosy lounge with outstanding drinks and snacks. This is a fine hotel, no smokey smell, clean, and quiet, comfy beds, not hard at all, we had great size rooms, furnished tastefully, and large nice bathrooms en-suites, the location is just a block walk away from a food mall, Apple store and shopping complex. A well located base from which to explore Beijing.

The Regent hotel is well located in central Beijing with easy walking access to the subway and the main tourist highlights of the Capital. The rooms and service are impeccable. The only downside was the very expensive the continental breakfast being 240 RMB (about 40+ Canadian $). The Concierge and Door staff were very helpful and courteous allowing us to... More

Our room had a good outlook and was clean and spacious, the food was good, staff were attentive and helpful. This was our base for visiting The Great Wall, the Sacred Way of the Ming Tombs, a Jade factory, Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City as well as Hutong by rickshaw and the Silk Market via the underground.
