You get what you pay for staying at this hotel. It's clean and beds are perfectly fine. Owners are very helpful and is a very reasonably priced. Would recommend for younger travellers who want cheap accommodation in Hong Kong

I enjoyed staying at Maple Leaf. I was in a single room for a week. The room is tight but the bed was a good size and the bathroom had everything that I needed. The room was very basic, which is exactly what I expected. I know to expect what I pay for, and I was expecting a clean, basic...

Located near Tsim Sha Tsui MTR, this guest house is located as part of a floor of many other guest houses in the same building. Rates are very cheap, cleanliness of the room is not bad, service is also pretty decent. The only downsides are no breakfast is included and the rooms are really very cramped!!!

Chungking Mansions has been renovated, with a new facade and upgraded rooms. This guest house has all new white tile walls and ceilings. Bathrooms are tiny but serviceable and kept clean daily. Yes, the rooms are also very small, but certainly large enough for a comfy bed. And the price is the best dal in town for the location. Highly...

Pros: excellent location close to the subway and bus stops, shops, bars and restaurants, good price for HK, friendly and helpful service, wi-fi, clean room. Cons: Chungking Mansions building is not a very friendly place, loud, crowded, with lots of touts and annoying vendors, queues to the lifts, although the one to the lift in block E seemed to be...

I had an overnight stay in HK and didn't want to spend too more than was necessary. They had a simple, clean place to stay for a good value. It's not fancy and the building is a a little sketch, but the lady that runs it is very nice.

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel and I have to say that this was the craziest experience for me ever. At first, you have to enter the hostel through an Indian Bazar. A lot of people try to sell you something. That's a little bit annoying and scarry, if you are not used to it. Second, the rooms are...

I just needed some rest (had 16 hrs to kill between long flights), and this was a good cheap option. Paid the owner HKG 350 cash (equals U$50) and had the room from just 10am to 6pm, to shower, and try to sleep a bit. From the airport there's a bus (forgot the no.), convenient double decker, runs every 10...

Booked this based on good TripAdvisor reviews after my wife wanted to try my colourful Chungking Mansion experience from decades ago. I was pleasantly surprised by how much cleaner and more modernised the whole building had become: efficient lifts with security cameras on all the different towers, with establishments clearly marked. Now onto Maple Leaf, which was friendly and helpful...

We have choose this guest house based on Tripadvisor reviews and I can just confirm we did the best. The owners are very nice, actually they have waited us till 2am at the morning, even they do not have any 24x7 reception. The location is just perfect, it's very close to Tsim Sha Tsui metro station (red line). Plus, connection...

“When you get into chungking mansion, get in, don't stop for the people trying to sell you stuff in front, have the number of the elevator and the floor memorized, find the right elevator, watch out, for each section (A, B, C...) you get 2 elevators going to odd and even floors. If you're not to hig up, you can take the stairs.... sometimes the elevators are slow, and full, you might have to wait a while.”
