1) PRICE 3,5 of 5 We had to find some place else to stay, so we booked 2 days before we checked in. 2 Persons, double-bed, € 135,- incl. all costs is fair. (Good for the location but it was by far not booked out, so you could get better prices for rooms offered on the street.) 2) Service 4... More

I stayed 2 nights in Ashoka. I chose this hostel because the price didn't rise in the weekend which fit my budget. I booked for a double room, but when I came they gave me the tripple room so I have a litle more space. Checked-in in the 16th floor and stayed 8th floor. Great location, just 20 steps to... More

A reasonably priced hostel for Hong Kong, with a perfect location right near the waterfront and the subway station. Wifi is incredible, easily the fasted wifi I've come across in my travels through Asia. Beds are pretty small so if you're an average height white person like me be prepared for some tossing and turning as your try find a... More

The room is quite small, but good enough for 4 adults and 2 kids. Ac worked well and bathroom heater as well. The location is just exactly what we wanted. Close to most of the attractions in HK. The building is a bit crowded and not as clean as what we expect. Receptionists are very friendly. Thanks to Lolit and... More

Ashoka Guest House amounts to a series of rooms on various floors in Block A of the Chung King Mansions. The main reasons to stay at Ashoka - or any of the many accommodation choices in Chung King Mansions - are the convenient location and the opportunity to immerse yourself in a polyglot hive of activity. Many south Asians and... More

I stayed at that guest house for 4 nights. To be honest I have heard a lot about Chuing Mansions and was afraid to stay there especially alone. But no reason to be afraid of it. Yes, it's a very international place, Indian and Arabian people always try to sell a room to you. Yes, the room is impossibly small.... More

I am 6'3", so I booked a double room. It was big enough for me. I booked Ashoka (13th Floor) Check in is on 16th floor. (Delta Hotel) My room was on 6th floor. This was actually better as it meant less time waiting for the elevator, and close enough to the ground to be able to walk down if... More

I enjoyed this hotel within Chungking Mansions. Ashoka Guest house is 13th floor, Block A. Check-in is on 16th floor (use other elevator). I however was placed in a room on the 6th floor. I was wary at first, having heard that one guesthouse will pawn you off on another if they were full. However I needn't worry, as they... More

This hostel is located at Chungking Mansion. Perfect for budget solo backpackers. I didn't expect too much I paid HKD100/night. Bed is really hard to sleep. Since it's in Hong Kong expect that the room is very tiny. The building is a bit run down. Lobby is not clean. You will be greeted with a smell of Indian spices. The... More

I would rather stay in a brothel in Calcutta, than ever step foot back in this "guest house." Not only was there vomit in the stairwells, but the rooms and reception look nothing like they do in the pictures here. I couldn't even take a shower because I felt as though I would come out dirtier than when I came... More
