Location is right in the middle of Central which makes everything convenient. A short walk from Central Station (nearest station from the Airport Express), be ready to go flights of stairs with your luggage to get to the hotel (or take a long way going thru Ice Street but road slope isn't that easy too but its better than lifting...

Good: Location. Central but a lot of steep steps to navigate from the metro. Not easy with luggage. Lot's of things to do nearby. Lobby. Lovely seating area. Wifi. Bad: Expensive. Says it's for budget travellers. Not at these prices! No mirror in the bathroom. Not much to expect is it? Noisy to the point of making unbroken sleep impossible....

The hotel rooms are tiny (as you would expect from the photos). Bathroom door is see-through, so bear that in mind - there is no privacy if you are using the bathroom at all. We had to keep asking for an extra towel to use in the bathroom otherwise the floor would get really soaking as the sink is so...

I looked for other affordable hotels but they were all hostels/guest houses. I think this hotel and other hotel is the cheapest one in Central. I had discount so price was quite ok for this location. You will have to go up and down steep slopes but everything is in walking distance. I arrived close to midnight and was not...

Yes the room was very small but it was clean enough and comfortable enough. Shower etc all functional. Don't expect luxury here but functionality. Good lobby area with a really helpful guy on staff who helped out with some local travel help and also managed to get us a Taxi with some persistence when several drivers did not want to...

My husband and I stayed at the Mini Hotel Central for one week in late November and had an ok stay. We were initially disappointed with the room but this is because we had been spoilt by our previous hotel (Bayon Villa in Siem Reap, Cambodia) which was incredible. The best way to describe the Mini Hotel is functional. It...

Stayed in a room with 2 single beds. The photos of the room posted on tripadvisor are reflective of our exact room. Room was clean but quite small. My husband who's 6ft had no problem with the length of the beds. Heads up, if you're staying with a friend, the shower/bathroom section does not have a curtain around the glass...

This is our first time in HK/Asia at all together so we haven't got any hotels to compare it to as of yet BUT we found some goods and some bads about it. Poor hotel. Very unfriendly and rude staff at front desk, lady named Yoko refused to call taxi for us for early 5.30am departure to airport. My gf and I came here on a weekend break. It is what is says on the tin, "mini". The room was...., well mini-size. It had a double bed, with wc and shower directly behind it, partitioned with transparent glass. Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
