Very good option to stay in heart of Kowloon. Nice apartments with very good services and extremely helpful staff. Rooms are little small as advertised for 650+ sqft but the amenities provided are very good. Next to Temple Street and Yau Ma Tei and Austin MTR are 5 and 10 mins away.

The design and ambiance of the room is good. The room is clean and spacious but the only disadvantage the next door neighbor is very noisy. We feedback to the management they did send people to tell them to lower their voice but of no improvement. It will be good to let customer to access the lift to the management...

Serviced apartments have the comforts of an apartment with the benefits of daily cleaning service. This one had a double bed in the room, separated from the living/dining/tv area by a sliding screen. The separate single bed in the living area was perfect for our child to feel like they had their "own room". Tight quarters, but homey. Chi provided...

Had a wonderful stay at CHI residences, not sure why everybody thought it was pretty run down but we stayed there for 4 nights and the place was really cosy. Maybe we got lucky? Beds were comfortable, there were amenities provided, you can even rent DVDs from the management office. More like a serviced apartment than a hotel. Only downside...

My wife and I stayed here a week. The location of the apartments are great and the average nightly price makes it great value for money when comparing it to the price of a similarly rated hotel. Overall it has the same amenities as a hotel (except no cotton buds and shower caps in the bathroom), it has a small...

Great location! Easy to find and near the MTR station. Room was clean and cosy. Had problems with the in-room Wi-Fi and flagging the cab on a rainy day but the the staff were friendly and helpful in resolving our problems.

Lovely place to say. Good location. Not to far from the MTR. Clean and modern. Very friendly staff. Only problem is the lift doesn't go all the way to the ground floor so you have to hike up to the first floor (reception floor) and then you can take the lift. The room is a good size considering its in...

Location great. Friendly staff. Good security. Clean. Room size big in hk standard. But the hotel is rather run down with the leather back of the bed peeling off. Stains on the sliding doors. Drainage system in shower wasnt working that well. The shower area flooded everytime we took a shower and it took around 15 mins before the water...

CHI is essentially a long term stay hotel (locally sometimes called a "Serviced apartment"). My wife and I stayed for a week in Jan 2016. Worked out great. Apartment was large by HK standards, with separate living and sleeping areas, a king size bed, and a small kitchenette. Living area included a large table that I could work on while...

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
