Seeing the reviews have already prepared me for the small rooms, but surprisingly, the toilet in the room was more spacious than what I thought it would be. Checking in and out was smooth without much issue. The two issues I had was with the flushing system of the toilet bowl in my room, and the curtains. The curtains couldn't...

We stayed at M1 last week. I think it's the best hotel we tried so far. The location is perfect and the cost is just right. The hotel is just few steps away from Yau Ma Tei MTR station and steps away from the stretch of Nathan Rd. There is a small night market located nearby where you can buy...

This hotel is located near Yau Ma Tei station, a walking distance to Mongkok and Jordan as well. There are many eateries in the area and there is also a wholesale food market nearby too. The rooms are a bit small but they provide a smartphone with internet accessibility as well.

The room is clean. Bed is comfortable though one of our beds is a bit squeaky. Loads of food choices around the hotel. Very closed to MTR. Great stay. Would definitely come back again if I'm coming back to hk.

North Point hotel is in a convenient local wet market location. 5 minute walk to MTR (subway) and A11 Airport bus. Hot water shower only last approx. 15 minutes. Clean bed and linens, but bathroom smelled of urine :(

Situated at a convenient location surrounded by eateries. Near to MRT station. What's fabtastic is its Internet accessibility with the Handy facility. It made our trip so easy with GPS facility and vouchers to tourist destinations.

Stayed at M1 Hotel for 3 nights with my partner. The room is small as expected from previous reviews, we had to place our 2 luggages on to the bench near the window as there isn't anywhere else you can put it. The room can only legit fit the double bed and you have little space on each side to...

The room is quite small but that's typical of a HK room size; limited but sufficient space to move around. Nice view from the comfy sofa bed by the window. Free luggage storage prior to check-in and after check-out. Convenient stores and local food outlets are located nearby. Staff were polite but a bit slow to respond to requests. However,...

Was with my wife in october 2016.The room is small..with 2 suitcase, you get limited space.however, location is great ,close to mtr..5mins.use exit B1 instead of B2. For hongkong hotels would say that M1 is value for money.. On top of it,the staff was helpful and can speak english.thumbs up.

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
