We recently stayed at this hotel for 5 nights on a pleasure trip. Great location only 3 mins walk to Sheung Wan MTR. Room size was larger than normal by Hong Kong standards. Room was very clean and breakfast enjoyable, although a little basic. The amazing bonus was the 3G smart phone which was able to be hotspotted throughout all...

As previous reviews stated - the hotel is tucked away, so much so that our taxi driver had to stop and ask directions to Jervoix street. We loved the locations ad there are plenty of local restaurants on the doorstep as well as western food outlets. Public transport is easy and within a few mins walk. Our room was clean,...

Breakfast, served In the hotel's first floor, was full of opportunities to eat healthy plant-based food. There were much standard European buffet options but the Chinese type "dim sum " was yummy, yummy yummy!

Four couples booked for a weekend. My wife & I were given a room with small kitchen & sitting area. Plenty of space and quiet. Other couples had rooms without and complained that the rooms felt small - normal for HK? We didn't use the hotel's amenities apart from breakfast which was satisfactory. DimSum restaurant a couple of blocks away...

Wonderful place with perfect stuff for staying in Hong Kong. Lot of places you can reach by feat. Very nice apartments, good coffee in room, very comfortable bed, good breakfast. I like this place :) and recommend.

We stayed at the Citadines hotel for 2 nights on a recent visit to Hong Kong. It is a small boutique hotel located in an older part of the city, but it is a short walk to the Sheung Wan Metro station. The staff at the hotel were lovely and very helpful. We made great use of the courtesy smart...

Stayed here for a week on business. Hotel location is great. Older part of HK, but 5min walk to business/sightseeing areas. The hotel itself is small. Note there is no lobby area (just one bench sofa squashed opposite the lift). So if you plan on relaxing/working/waiting for friends you can't. Bedroom- beware bugs/mites that are in the carpet and will...

We had booked two nights but only stayed one night due to a snafu on Delta's part. The staff changed our reservation and only charged the one night. We found the location in Sheung Wan and it's proximity to Central/SOHO to be very convenient in getting from the airport with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. I joined...

The Bathroom is the saddest room to walk in. There is not enough hangers. Actually there is no hanger at all. The shower is either too hot or too cold. Too hot that I can sourvide a fillet in the tub. The weather was 113-16 c so we do need good warm shower. The water pressure is weak , too...

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighbourhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
