The room of hotel is big and comfortable with reasonable price. It's good location which really nearby metro. This hotel provides free breakfast and afternoon tea which is simple but acceptable. However, the thing I don't like with this hotel is noise from air conditioning.

Located steps from the metro this hotel is clean and very comfortable. Large room and technologically advanced with ports for all your devices. Now the room had no drawers for underwear socks and t shirts and breakfast was quite skimpy. And the bathroom had little or no room next to the sink for toiletries. Given these shortcomings the pluses outweigh...

This is my second time staying at The Bauhinia. First time was in 2012. The location of the hotel is the best thing about it as it is so convenient to get to places from the hotel. Unfortunately although the room was large it was in need of refurbishment. The carpet was badly stained and the walls needed decoration and...

Stayed in this hotel with family on a pleasure trip to HK and Macau. Positives: 1) Location, location, location: for the first time visitor, (for the price) it's an absolute gem. really near the Sheung Wan MTR (by near I mean 20-30 feet away) and it's across the HK-Macau Ferry. it's also next to a department store and a lot...

Location is great. Fastest way from Cheung Wan Station, take exit B. Once you are out, in front (across the street) you will see Starbucks. Turn left and in the 2nd intersection (corner) is a bank and turn left as the entrance door of the hotel is just after that bank (this is about 2-3 min walk from the exit...

Stayed here during a 22 hour lay over from Fiji to the UK. Used it as a base camp to explore HK. Excellent location, friendly staff. Free to use wifi. Free breakfast in the morning. Large bedroom and bathroom. Right next to one of the metro stations which is great to get to the airport from. If I ever return...

This was our first time visting Hong Kong, and were were staying just 1-night on a lay-over returning home from Australia. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, and amenities were sufficient. Shower was very nice, and the toiletries offered were very good. There was free wi-fi in the rooms. As I mentioned, the king-size bed was...

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighbourhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
