When you travel from Tung Chung to The big Buddha via the Cable Car. There has several things should do, have vegetarian meal, take the bus from the bus terminal to Tai O. It is a small fish village in hongkong, walk around, go to the tai o hertiage hotel. It was a police station before, beautiful sunset view. Then...

The stay had been offered to us by some friends and we only realized the cost of it once we were there. The building is a nice old early 20th century colonial building overlooking the ocean. The hotel is comfortable with large rooms. The restaurant is a bit disapointing as it does not have the charm the hotel has. But...

A very peaceful and comfortable place to stay, let down only by the restaurant. Combined with a visit to the village nearby, this is a good choice for one night only. Dinner and breakfast were both a disappointment, but the location makes up for it.

Amazing environment and nice decor of room. A good retreat. However the restaurant keeps running out of food and wine that we want. Although we understand that it's probably hard for the hotel to keep the stock being so far away but still it was a bad remark to the total experience. The air-con is a bit noisy as well....

My mom and I stayed in the suite next to the reception area. The room and the hotel was nicely decorated and the hotel uses very good quality furnishing and equipment. The rain shower was good and have strong water pressure, the bed is comfortable, TV channel selections was good, staff were all very friendly. However, the food served in...

We recently spent two nights in this quaint hotel converted from a disused marine police station. Run as a social enterprise, the hotel was a marvel of a place, credit to the brave people who devoted themselves to the resurrection of this fine colonial building. With just nine rooms one wonders how the facility can ever sustain itself even if...

I spent one beautiful night at this hotel. Lovely, charming, well appointed. The area is quiet especially after the day trip tourists. The restaurant was decent. One night was enough to soak in the charm and see the local scenery. So glad we stayed at this lovely historic hotel

This hotel is a colonial police station-turned heritage hotel. The rooms are furnished with traces of how it looked like in the past. There is a guided tour that you could join in which the guide will explain to you history and characteristics of this hotel. There is a restaurant, Tai O Lookout which has special furniture and serves western...

Hotel lies on peninsula west of Tai O fishing village and is housed in the old Tai O marine police station which dates from 1902. Can reach it from Hong Kong using ferry to Mui Wo and then the number 1 bus to Tai O or MRT to Tung Chung and no 11 bus to Tai O. Bus rides around...

The hotel is nicely refurbished and is a good base from which to explore the fishing village and the hiking trails across the bay from the hotel accessible via the bridge. Breakfast in the hotel's restaurant was a great experience with the full glass windows offering views of the bay. I was most impressed with the assistance rendered when I...
