I stayed @ BP International the 1st time I went to HK & I loved the hotel! However, due to budget constraints, I had to choose a different one on my 2nd trip. I was w/ mom who isn't really after luxurious hotels but I wanted to make sure she'd enjoy her 1st time in HK. So I researched for... More

Please note that there's no seaview from the room at all. The nearest MTR is Yau Ma Tei and abt 5 mins walk from Exit C. Once you exit, turn right and walk to the next traffic light and turn right again and walk to the next traffic light. The hotel is at the traffic light junction. Quite convenient. Room... More

The room my wife and I stayed in, though small, was very well kept and clean. We particularly liked the bathroom because it was really clean and made good use of such a small space. Breakfast was provided for and we liked the food. It could be improved though by putting some variation of the choices. The hotel is very... More

You can find 20 other hotels in the same location but service with a smile is very very hard to find. Worst service in my opinion. And yes one of the smallest rooms ive been in (similar to other's review)

A budget hotel in Kowloon area. Relatively good location, near the market and all the shops. We paid 140 euro per double room without breakfast which looked like quite a lot for what we got. The rooms are very small but clean, with a small but modern bathroom. The beds are of asian size!! Our legs were hanging out of... More

We stayed at this hotel during our 1week trip to Hong Kong. This hotel is located strategically in the middle of Nathan Road. We took Citybus A21, about 40minutes journey from HKIA direct to Nathan Road and walked 10minutes to reach hotel. (For those who intend go to Dorsett may just take A21 which is more economical rather than airport... More

I stayed in the hotel for 7 nights. The hotel is just behind temple street and is very convenient, is only 5 minutes (or even shorter if you walk faster) to MTR station YauMaTei. There is a lot to see and eat at Temple street too. Though hotel room is very small but is good enough for 2 person. The... More

Based on so many reviews on Dorsett Seaview Hotel that the rooms are small, I almost didn't give this hotel a try! I'm glad I did and the room are surprisingly much bigger than I expected! I was given a twin bed room with fantastic view! The rooms are newly renovated and look very hip-hop! The room also comes with... More

On our way back from Taipei, my colleagues and me decided to break journey at Hong Kong. As hotel was well known to the locals, it was not at all difficult finding it. Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
