The Eaton Hotel is a good value for the location and what it offers. It is on Kowloon Island, two blocks from the Temple Street Night market and the Jade Market. It took us 20-25 minutes to walk down to Hong Kong harbor on Nathan Street. The hotel offers a great breakfast buffet to get your morning start for your...

We stayed here for two nights and booked an early check-in as we arrived early in the morning. The travel agent or tour company had apparently booked us a twin room but this was sorted out quickly and cheerfully by Eaton and we were initially given a twin room to allow us to change, shower and rest, with our room...

Stayed here before, now back for another visit. Booked the "Family room" including E-Club. The room was small with bunk beds in living room and a queen bed in the bedroom. Space is extremely tight, and with only one bathroom to share. Rate is actually worked out to be the same as having two rooms, so in the future, would...

We stayed at the Eaton for 6 nights and went with E-Club Accommodation Option, which included Buffet Breakfast and access to the E-Club Lounge. The hotel is in a fantastic location, 5 minutes walk to the Jordan MTR, 2 minutes from Temple Street Night Market and Jade Market. There's a 7-11 directly opposite to the concierge and a grocery store...

I had a four-night stopover here at the end of a holiday in China. Initially allocated a tiny but smartly refurbished room, I was moved to 15th floor with great view after concerns about noise of repairs from adjoining room. Management and staff were more than responsive and room change came with a tray of fresh fruit and bottle of...

This hotel is a great hotel. The only complaint I have about it is that the family room is very small and with two adults and 3 children under 6 years of age we found it very hard to move around in the room. It has a nice king size bed but the children's beds were in where the lounge...

For my business trip to Hong Kong, I chose to stay at Eaton, because of the location is on Nathan Road in Kowloon that very convenient, especially at night is very nice. Subway, bus, night market etc are all easily accessible on foot. The rooms are a bit small but clean and having only a shower without a bathtub that...

I would not stay here again. It was kind of old looking. The pool is okay but they could have made it so much nicer as it is on the roof- The room had NO views- just of an old ugly building- The fittness room is nice The breakfast was also good and the small garden is nice- But for...

The Eaton is a busy, popular hotel on Nathan Road in Jordan/YauMaTei in Kowloon. We had requested a twin room in the hotel's deluxe room class (their basic room). Most Asian double beds are made of two single beds joined together. Often twin rooms in 5 star hotels have two queen beds, however in the case of the Eaton, all...

Dear Guest, Thank you for posting your comments. We are sorry that you were disappointed with the size of our room. Our Deluxe Rooms and Smart Rooms are all of a standard size due to infrastructure limits. As you mentioned, our Club Rooms and Family Rooms are more spacious which can be an option for your future visits. Sincerely yours,...

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
