My first ever visit to this hotel and was really impressed. From arrival to departure everything was truly excellent. My room was excellent with an amazing view over the harbour, the bar was great and a wide variety of excellent restaurants. Will definitely make this my hotel of choice in Hong Kong.

Stayed for a week . Spectacular views large rooms with layout very similar to park Hyatt Sydney . The club lounge has the best and varied selection by far with courteous staff . The spa in plateau is beautiful . This is a perfect hotel with close proximity to Wan Chai station and also the ferry across to Kowloon .

Very impressed with the Hyatt - amazing Buffett for breakfast and dinner, 50 m heated pool and excellent and attentive staff. Just recovering after a skiing trip in Japan - needed a rest and got it in spades !

This is by far the best hotel we've stayed in Hong Kong. Centrally located. If you're going to stay at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, the extra cost for club access is well worth it. You won't need to hassle about anything. Wake up, eat, drink, go about your day, come back, eat, drink, go out again to watch the...

I stayed at this hotel for my trip to Hong Kong. The Grand Hyatt is a very beautiful hotel. When I entered my room, the first thing that I noticed and quite shocked me (not in a good way) was the bathroom inside the bedroom. I had never seen anything like it before! It is my first time in Hong...

despite researching this hotel extensively, and choosing what I thought would be the best room for me that is an executive room on the 28th floor, unfortunately the room smelled of cigarettes. The hotel is supposed to be non smoking but clearly someone took advantage and spoilt it for the rest of us. Sadly the hotel was not able to...

This was a fantastic hotel that had a wonderful view of the river and the light show from the buildings during the holidays. The room was spacious with an excellent bed, soft plush towels, and great toiletries. The room had cool modern decor and the electronic controls were conveniently located by the bed. The club lounge was on a top...

We recently had a weekend in Hong Kong visiting friends post a work visit to China and chose to stay at the Grand Hyatt again. Our stay was relatively flawless. Lobby and concierge staff are still nowhere near as wonderful as the staff in the Club lounge but they do set the bar high there. Our club room was lovely...

Every other year it would be too cold to swim here, but not today. The pool is perfect temperature and the sun is shining. We are lucky today! We come 3 our 4 times a year, the restaurants are great, the service is outstanding and the entire place is beautiful.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
