Outstanding service and great view of the harbour. Club floor provides elegant breakfast, sandwiches and fruit and drinks all day, tea mid afternoon and snacks and wine in the evening. Location near convention centre and subway. Currently ++++ construction for subway in front of the harbour view - does spoil the view.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Let's start with what stands out: the service at the hotel is fantastic. Every single person there seems happy to be there and to help. The hotel itself is beautiful. The executive room we stayed in was very nice with a phenomenal view. We had dinner in the One Harbour Road restaurant and although expensive it was a very nice...

First of all, I'd like to give a major shoutout for the Hyatt Concierge Twitter team who always responds to issues quickly. Secondly, another shoutout to the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong team for responding to our complaints fast. Just to clarify, given the choice,I'd give the hotel 3.5 star instead of 3, but because TripAdvisor doesn't allow half rating, its...

The hotel, services and location are great but with a big NOISY construction in front. It starts at 7am and ends around 7pm including Saturday. We stayed on the 26th floor and couldn't really cope with the noise: in average 60 db with regular peaks at 85-90db. I would recommend the hotel for business only during construction time and I...

This really is the best hotel in Hong Kong. Having stayed at other 5* properties the Grand Hyatt really covers all basis. The Club Lounge is phenomenal, with great food throughout the day; Breakfast, lunch and a light dinner. Also Champagne is served in the evening! The breakfast in the Grand Club is excellent, with high quality produce. One morning...

Stayed there for 4 nights over art week. Room is well furnished and comfortable. But breakfast service hours seem to be the shortest amongst all the hotel i stayed at and for art week?! Service ends at 10am even on a Friday. And despite room comes with breakfast, they will charge ala carte since its after 10am. This hotel needs...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
