The deluxe room had an excellent view when you could see out the windows. We had to constantly wipe the window with a towel to remove the mist. The room heating left you in jumpers and we had to get a second dooner for the nights. The beds are quite firm but comfortable. House keeping continually replace shampoo and conditioner,...

I recently returned from a two week vacation to Hong Kong with my daughter in May. We were planning to spend one week in a hotel in Hong Kong and another week in Kowloon. Prior to the trip, I did a substantial amount of research and came across a restauranteur's comment regarding Karl Law at the Island Pacific Hotel. That...

We stayed at the Island Pacific for 5 nights and this was our first ever trip to Hong Kong. First up i thought the location was quite good, it is VERY easy to get around Hong Kong so i would not be too concerned about reviews that say otherwise, our experience was that we had no troubles. We came on...

I've just spent two weeks working with a client located in Central, but didn't want to pay the £300+ a night for a hotel really nearby. I went for the Island Pacific, and it's been a very good stay. I arrived before check-in time, and they quickly made a room available. I was in a superior room, and the room...

We were booked into this hotel for 3 nights after flying in from Sydney. We had aimed to cram everything into our 3 booked days.....we weren't expecting a volcano to erupt. Our original date for flying would have kept us there for another 3 weeks but thankfully we were able to get an earlier flight but were still there for...

I stayed two nights in Superior Harbour View room. Room had a view towards Kowloon and a floor-to-ceiling window. Room was small, but ok for few nights. Toilet clean, small, but ok. Location is "local/Chinese" next to the smelly shark fin stores, being away from expats and tourists, but still a few minutes from Center. Tram is the handiest way...

We stayed at the Island Pacific for 5 nights in April 2010. This hotel strikes a good balance of being close to the business and tourist centres in Hong Kong without being so close as to charge a premium for location. The ambience of the hotel is excellent. The lobby, cafe and restaurant are all decked out in gleaming marble,...

Took a cab from Macau Ferry and brought to the side entrance. The hotel is right on the streetcar line and don't know why they don't capitalize on this. Was issued a room which is perfectly adequate for one. The view was lovely of the trams to my left and the bay to the right. They are working on the...

I stayed at the Island Pacific hotel for 2 weeks in late March. Here are some pros and cons. Pros: 1. If you want to see old HK, this is the place. It is easily accessible to tram and buses, as well as Sheung Wan MTR station. Free hotel shuttle to Central MTR, Macau ferry, Landmark, etc. 2. Clothes line...

We realy enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Absolutely family friendly. Good and helpful service. Location not the best but we could see different part of town (more local feeling). Rooms very spacious and price absolutely brilliant.
