In its continuing pursuit of excellence and with a total investment of USD31 millions, the Royal Garden has just completed a sophisticated re-imaging programme of its stylish guestrooms. The Royal Garden, conveniently located in the business and shopping areas of Tsimshatsui - a district well served by Hong Kong's efficient public transport system (MTR), is the only hotel in Hong Kong with a 110-foot atrium, allowing natural daylight to illuminate the hotel's interior by day and an exquisite ambience by night. The hotel has an impressive choice of the award winning and Michelin Recommended restaurants including Sabatini Ristorante Italiano, Shikigiku Japanese restaurant, The Royal Garden Chinese Restaurant, The Greenery, Dong Lai Shun, Le Soleil and J'Bar. Overlooking Victoria Harbour, the roof-top Mediterranean style Sky Club provides top quality leisure facilities including a 25 meter heated swimming pool and a Jacuzzi (open daily from 06:30 - 22:00hrs), Massage and 24 hours Gym.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Everyone that we interacted with was willing to help and eager to make our stay as easy as possible. I travelled with a family member in a wheelchair and everyone was so understanding. From the moment we stepped foot into the hotel, all the staff were eager to help us get around. They even made our check-in smooth for my disabled guest (who cannot sit too long in the chair). There was a moment when we were stuck on a floor with no lift access and they sent a member of staff to personally escort us and help us find our way. Pauline, at check-in upgraded us to larger room and it made a world of a difference with getting in and out of the hotel room. When I asked about dinner options next door, Pauline did not know the answer but called up to our room to follow up after she found the answers. We were pleasantly surprised with the delicious morning breakfast buffet. It was much more than a ‘lite’ buffet (which is what is written on their website)! My wheelchair guest was very happy with the bakery downstairs. He “oohed” and “aahed” over the pastries. You get a discount if you are a hotel guest! We are staying again this summer!

We are fans of Royal Garden on Mody Road in TST East. This is a really nice property in the 4-5 star range that is presently offering very affordable room rates during the pandemic, making them a wonderful property for locals interested in staycation experiences at quality hotel properties. Most recently, we stayed for 3 nights, booking through booking.com where we found the most affordable room rates. Reservation confirmation was received instantly and we had the choice of paying upon making the booking or at the hotel. Check-in was reasonably expedient and they offer luggage storage if you need them to hold bags for you. The property is nice with a quaint indoor open area with feature restaurants, bar, pool and gym. The lobby area is fair sized, staff are very friendly and helpful and work hard to process the high number of local guests staying here these days. Rooms are really nice for the low room rates presently being charged. While less elegant than the proper five star places like Shangri-la and InterContinental Grand Stanford nearby, they are much nicer than most 4 star properties that we have tried around the city in recent years. Rooms are modernly decorated (pictures online are good representations of what to expect). Furnishing is comfortable, beds medium soft and comfy, providing restful nights. Sitting chair is nice, work station and desk space just fine. The rooms come with expected amenities - A/C, stable wifi, cable TV, safe, kettle, hair dryer, bath robes and have plenty or storage room and closet space, large bathrooms with showers. Rooms with harbour views are great, a nice perk if they are available when making reservations. The location in TST East is fair. You are just 2 minute walk to TST East MTR Entrance (P2) or 8-10 minute walk to the Hung Hom Station. There are quite a few restaurants, coffee shops and a few bars nearby as well. Importantly, you are just a couple minutes walk to the harbour where you can enjoy Hong Kong's famous Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Skyline which is a delight day or night. Overall, we have really enjoyed several stays at Royal Garden during the pandemic and are already looking forward to returning soon. They have a nice property and offer great value for money staycation opportunities right now. We'll definitely try to squeeze in another stay or two while they last.

The room was fine. The service was amazing. Unlimited snacks with range of varieties and great service were provided in lounge, in both tea and cocktail sessions. Special thanks to friendly and cheerful staffs, especially Nora and Sharon. The swimming pool was lovely but you can’t book the session in advance though which was a bit inconvenient. So far it was a fabulous stay in Royal Garden Hotel:)

This is my second time to stay at The Royal Garden. I would like to say I love this hotel very much. First of all, the hotel is very near the train station, just 5 mins walking district. When I arrived at the hotel, the bellboys were so helpful. After that, the check-in procedure was so smooth and quick. The receptionist named Sonia was polite, kindly and professional with explaining all the information detail, like WIFI, facilities, restaurant. Anyway, she is wonderful!! Moreover, the room condition very nice. Big enough, nice view. Overall, is a good sample of excellent hospitality, pretty sure I will rebook again in the future!!
