I have stayed on this hotel twice. Both stayed for only a day and its both a scenario when i was on my way to mainland China. For me this is a really great stop over if you are from or going to mainland China. The Kowloon ferry terminal is just below the hotel. Very close to shopping district, easy...

I've been staying at Royal Pacific Hotel both on business and for pleasure since 2002. Apart from some delays checking in/out during busy periods, I can do nothing but recommend this hotel. If you are lucky enough to get an upgraded room you can expect glorious views across to Hong Kong Island: unfortunately the other standard rooms are VERY small...

What can I say, the rooms are clean and very big for "standard" rooms. Fully equipped with flatscreen TV, desk, couch and coffee table. The large ensuite with a separate shower and bath was also a pleasant surprise! The maids serviced the room every day to a very high standard and with the location above the Macao ferry and minutes...

I stayed for 2 nights at a time when some exhibition was going on due to which this time I had to pay more than double the normal room charges (HKD 1950 per night). For such a price it was not worth as room is quite small. Only positive has been a very nice buffet breakfast.

The BAD: I will not write about HK as there is already enough info out there, however this is soley on the hotel itself. Was one hour and 40 minutes booking in. This was due to large amout of arrival of guests and what appeared to be only 4 checkin computers. The room I asked for was not available, and...

As a regular guest, I admit to being frustrated by poor service at check in and check out. Sometimes lines are 12-15 people long. Not this time. Very impressive speed for checking in and for check out, I was lucky. No one at reception, but they only had 1 person working so my perception could have changed. I was lucky....

We only really know people and organizations when a problem happens. We booked a hotel for our stay in Hong Kong trough AA CarHotel. It seems that AA delayed to send our reservation to the Royal Pacific Hotel so the hotel did not find our reservation on their system, although we have showed them the voucher with the confirmation. At...
